How to Improve pvp skills
Now I've always been between Silver III and I. I've been this way for about a year or so. Somehow I just can't seem to get any better. I know the tips like wtapping, stapping, strafing, etc. I try to tap w before hitting to reset sprint. However, I still can't get my elo up. I want to be much much better at pvp than I am because I get killed in factions. How can I improve? I think it might be my clicking speed, I am between 6-8 cps. How do I improve this?

Practice above all else.

You should also try using a hotbar that you feel comfortable with and works for you.

Decide what your personal playstyle will be like.

I looked through a few of your matches and as a slightly better player (I'm still bad tbh) I'd advise rodding more. Be strategic when you play, go for the rods and once you get the rod then go in for the double hit or the combo. Be conservative with your healing, if someone is chasing you and you need to heal, rod them back or water them or something. It's annoying, but it's nevertheless a way to improve.

If you could record yourself playing a few matches and upload it to youtube we could see what you're doing wrong and advise you.

w tapping really doesnt work on badlion nearly as effectively as it works on other servers because of the kb

Ah yes, I hardly ever use the rod. I normally play gapple or pot, but when I do go into SG or Build I never use the rod. I usually miss, and then as im rodding the other guy is hitting me. I'll try to improve with it.

Alright here's the video:

1. Play 1.7 , its stupid to play 1.8
2.ur aim is bad. especially with rod, its looks like u r trying to fail with the rod.

Play gapple to help ur aim and strafe

I suggest you click a bit faster, and be a tryhard, believe it or not this actually helped me a lot. But click speed isn't everything. I click 10-11 cps and I'm only Gold IV build. Oh yeah and always play on 1.7, never 1.8

Just a few things that might help a bit

1- Don't double pot unless you're on 2 hearts or lower, and you should never need to triple pot
2- keep your inventory fairly organised so you can refill quickly
You seemed decent at ND and I'm not very good at it so idk what else to say

For build,
Practice. Mainly your non-speed PvP and your rod skill. Don't worry about your rank and focus on just landing your rods because when you play properly it will come to you automatically.
Also if you're 4 hearts down eat a head rather than a gap

I have the mousedelayfix mod for 1.8, and since the faction servers I play are 1.8 I really don't want to switch. Is there any advantage?
