Keyboard suggestions?
WARNING:I do not give a single bean about the cosmetics or how it looks.

I just want a keyboard that's good, doesn't break in 1 day like razer products XDXDXD.

Under £100 please. I do have a steelseries mouse and mousepad which I do love, had it for 4 years and it still works perfectly :). so yeah.

Possibly, amazon uk links?

Thank you

I'm not a professional at this at all but I also heard that steelseries is good. And if they have a keyboard you should choose one from them.

I honestly don't know anything lol

if you want one without a numpad i'd say get this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Spectrum-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B015XW0XVA/ref=sr_1_7?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1496774137&sr=1-7&keywords=logitech+mechanical+keyboard

and if you want a full size keyboard i'd say get this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Backlit-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B01C2MLY2Q/ref=sr_1_12_m?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1496774137&sr=1-12&keywords=logitech+mechanical+keyboard

this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Spectrum-Mechanical-Keyboard-English/dp/B01B4O2GHA/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1496774282&sr=1-1&keywords=logitech+g810+orion+spectrum

Some things to consider:

-How important is RGB lighting to you?
-Does it have to be mechanical?
-Name brands or not?
-Backlit or not?
-Macro/Programmable buttons?
-Wrist Rest?

Membrane Keyboards
Some recommendations:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01M4LIKLI/?tag=pcp0f-21
This is a non-mechanical keyboard from a top company. It has RGB zones [not individually lit keys], but offers programmable buttons at a relatively cheap price. You have quality backed with Corsair products.
Price: 65 euros

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00CA1KVYW/?tag=pcp0f-21
Since you have a steelseries mouse, this would pair nicely with it. My friend has one of these, but some things to note is that it is rather large, and the LEDs are quite dull. The RGB isn't fully customization either. Keys are not mechanical.
Price: 83 euros

Mechanical Keyboards

This removes the numpad but gives RGB and Mechanical options for really cheap. The romer-g switches are a good option that are relatively quiet as well.
Price: 60 euros

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B010091QJO/?tag=pcp0f-21 / https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01HDGEL1M/?tag=pcp0f-21&th=1
This is another top-of-the-line Corsair product. It is mechanical [this is the Red switch version, Brown and Blue also available]. It has red backlit LEDs, but no RGB or programmable buttons.
Price: Red: 100 euros / Silent: 80 euros

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0153MTX4S/?tag=pcp0f-21 / https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01EV03F7O/?tag=pcp0f-21&th=1
This would push your budget, but would offer RGB to the above keyboard. This offers a wrist rest as well. Blue mechanical keys come in at a much cheaper price at this time.
Price: Blue: 95 euros / Red: 125 Euros

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01AFY1630/?tag=pcp0f-21
Good option if you are willing to extend your budget. This thing packs all the features for only 30 euros over your budget.
Price: 135 euros

I would definitely chose a mechanical version over membrane. The difference is massive.

This is also a pretty good option. I have a g910 keyboard so I know that the romer-g switches are really good. If the other options don't sit well with you, get this.

My personal recommendation is brown mechanical switches, good fit for both gaming and typing. If you don't much care for keys better for typing you're better off with the cherry switches for gaming.
Also I'd recommend not going name-brand like razer, with them a part of their price is just paying for the name-brand.
All of the keyboards Wqrrior suggested are very good, you can't really go wrong with any of them.
This is the keyboard I personally own, it has nice customization and I like it, though it is quite expensive compared to others http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/products/mechanical-keyboard/wasd-v2-104-key-custom-mechanical-keyboard.html

Thank you guys all for the great feedback! I'm just looking for efficiency and quality. Yes mechanical but I don't care at all about the colour etc. What exactly is a wrist rest, im stupid. Just under £80, what's the best keyboard you recommend? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Spectrum-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B015XW0XVA/ref=sr_1_7?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1496774137&sr=1-7&keywords=logitech+mechanical+keyboard this one seems pretty good cos its cheaper than the rest and I feel like it's only because it doens't have a numpad? which doesn't bother me at all . dont need it xd

Yes, I recommend that one. I have the g910 keyboard which has been a great purchase. [http://gaming.logitech.com/en-ca/product/rgb-gaming-keyboard-g910]. This is essentially a condensed version of it. Assuming it being similar to the 910, I would definitely recommend it, especially at that price.

http://gaming.logitech.com/en-ca/product/rgb-tenkeyless-gaming-keyboard-g410

Watch some review videos on it before you make your final decision.

A wrist rest is the extended area below the keys. Like in the g910, there is the area below in which is meant to place your wrists on.

it's simply a wrest at the bottom of your keyboard that your wrist rests on to help decrease any pain or uncomfortableness during long periods of gaming/typing
They don't all look like this, there are many different kinds, some even just attach straight to your keyboard, but here is an example of one http://prntscr.com/fgpuc8

@Zelkam @Wqrrior I'm still going to be playing on a laptop and I thought that the laptop screen will be further away
due to the keyboard of the laptop itself so I was thinking, I should probably lift it up a bit? If I was to "lift it up" what can I put under the laptop? OK I DID THINK BOOKS I WONT LIE AND I FIGURED it can probably be set on fire o.e

looks like the one without a numpad is the option for me :v

Well, maybe with the money you are saving with a cheaper keyboard you can save up and get a monitor so that that isn't a problem.

That was my next question, if I got a monitor and connected it to my laptop with a HDMI cable ( I have a HDMI port thing for my laptop), could I play on the monitor? Won't there be a delay due to it being a second screen or something?

I'm not certain on that. But I have two monitors [although connected to a desktop PC] and I don't notice any delay. I'd have to know your laptop specs to know what type of monitor would best suit your needs. I'd suggest watching youtube reviews to ensure you get the best product for what you have.

Ah I see, I can give you the full specs next week :D Yeah, the keyboard seems to have really good reviews though some question the build quality :S

Doing more research, that keyboard is getting a lot of criticism for just making the cut etc. not really too good. If I was to stay, my budget was £100. What mechanical keyboard would you recommend, for the sole purpose of gaming :? amazon links will be much appreciated :v

Cherry Switches have caught my eyes and this one looks interesting.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Keyboards-Mice-Input-Devices/Corsair-Gaming-9104023-STRAFE-Cherry-Backlit-Mechanical/B01HDGEL1M/ref=sr_1_1?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1496857219&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+cherry+mx+silent

Thoughts?
