WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? So I constantly get paired with Gold 1's and 2's fucking 2 seconds after ranking up! But it GOT WAYYY WORSE! LOOK AT THIS SCREENSHOT!

HOW IN THE HELL DOES THE MATCHMAKING WORK? Does it fucking pair me with whoever clicks ranked first? If you can tell me how the fuck this is happening then I'll be thinking about staying on this network. Cause this is total shit.

Queuing system is being reworked on for season15. I think the point of the current matchmaking system is to allow players to achieve a higher rating. When season 15 will come you will have 2 choices for queuing either kohi system and another system (forget what it was).

How the queuing system works is that once in queue it will slowly try to match you with people around your skill level.
However for very low / high rated players, this means they could sit in queue for hours
Therefore after 20 seconds (dont know the exact time), the system will put you against the first person who is also in queue

This results in low ranked players like yourself often playing high rated players.
The average in Build UHC I would guess is around Emerald 5 now,
Because many people are ranked around Emerald 5, the majority of them queue up against eachother whilst the Diamond / Masters rated and the Bronze / Silver rated cannot find a match
After the 20 seconds are up the Silver and Masters go against eachother as all the other people who joined queue during that time found matches with other similar ranked players

This is kinda good for the Masters rated as they only get 13 MMR of most ranks so this makes it much easier to grind. I guess its not terrible for the low ranked player as they have the chance of a massive drain and even if they do lose its only a small amount
