Staff Age Limit.
Hello, first off I know there's no staff age limit. But let's say for example. Someone is 11 and they applied. Their application was good and they were mature enough to be accepted. Will they STILL be accepted? Even if they are 9 but their application is perfect. I would like someone to answer me, thanks.

Best regards,
xDominate.

Yes.

I don't imagine a nine year old could behave as a representative for Badlion, especially one with authority over players, as a moderator or a host would.

10 year old is fine probably

Personally, if I new a player was ten years old, and they applied, I wouldn't accept them.

You have to keep in mind that staff members are representatives of Badlion, as previously stated. They have influence and exercise authority over players. In almost all cases, a 9 or 10 year old simply wouldn't be mentally qualified to effectively implement themselves in such a role as a moderator or host

I mean, you say this in theory. But when you are modding (I was a mod for 11 months), you don't really exercise authority over players as much as people say. You just mute/ban on a daily basis. As far as influence goes, I really don't think that mods really influence players much.

A 10-year-old who is able to not abuse powers would do just fine. Granted, a minority of 10-year-olds would fit that qualification but there are definitely some.

Muting are banning players is exactly that– exerting one's influence upon another as an authority. I don't quite understand what you mean, as that is exactly what that is.

As an authority, as a moderator, you ultimately hold whether the player can communicate and or play. If that's not authority, I don't know what is

If you don't think staff influence players much, just look at how many threads there are complaining about staff. I think they speak for themselves

Actions would speak louder than words in this sense.

i got mod as a 12 year old, and i never got demoted or really looked down upon for my actions as a mod. I resigned a while ago, but i think you should be at least 12 or older, unless you're very immature and it shows during your trial as a mod. 12 is a very tricky age, but it should be the minimum.

I would not want a 12 year old staffing my server if I was owner, but that's just my opinion

also think about the UHC hosts, they are the main person people see in their game. Would you want a 9 year old having to handle all that and answer so many questions?

I'm 13 and I got staff :P If other staff can see that if you are really mature for your age then they would accept you. But the younger the applicant is the more hesitant we are to accepting them into the staff team.

13 is the best age.

I don't know if you could say it's the best age but it is a good starting age.

Age is just a number. Isn't maturity what you guys are looking for on a staff member?

If age was just a number, there would be absolutely no need for any age restrictions on anything, including voting, smoking, age of consent and drinking.
