i really don't wanna make a rage thread about this but it's just so dumb how i'm actually not bad but i can't win in pot ladders and stuff because sa players 6 block me across the map… it's just so fucking annoying please just make this a thingPosted on 11 June 2017 - 04:56 PM
Hello there, Archy himself has stated that the option of cross region rankings is for a global scale of rating. People may want to get high on leader boards on other regions or simply try playing new opponents. While ping may cause an issue, it really would be unfair to take the option away for everyone.Posted on 11 June 2017 - 05:36 PM
Lagging doesn't give you an advantage, I don't understand how people can blame losing on the other person having worse connection.Posted on 11 June 2017 - 07:14 PM
Low ping players say high ping is an advantageHigh ping players say low ping is an advantage

I say they both have advantages, but bowing with 300 ms is hell. I've had both, I greatly prefer low ping.
IMO
High ping melee can be advantageous.
High ping bowing is the physical embodiment of hell.
High ping is counter able. Making quick turn arounds for a quick hit or two is a good strategy to gain a few hits on your opponent. I don't see this as a problem, as it has benefits and drawbacks. Until we see the majority of leaderboard players switching to to different regions, it's fine.

Or maybe i'm just simply replying to try and understand what he means by not being able to win yet being 'not bad'. Like surely if you're 'not bad' you can win with enough determination.

Or maybe because you didn't read what he actually said,
He said he cant win pot ladders(and stuff, obviously meaning melee ladders).
Next time read what the person actually said before saying something.
