I have a couple questions about pot pvp.1. Does playing HCF kit type ladders like Kohi ladder get you better at pvp? Or do you improve the same as vanilla?
2. If a guy is combo'n you and you just can't seem to hit him, what's the best way to get out of the situation without using many health pots and not losing to much armor durability?
3. What's the best number of hearts to insta left? Like when you have a certain amount of health left, when should you insta at what amount of health?
Hope I can get some answers :)
And no, I'm not brand new to pvp, these are just things that I seem to experience and I think I could use a little clarification on.

1. Playing an assortment of ladders probably won't make you better, but playing and practicing will. Just experience and time will make you better.2. Try to counter in the opposite direction he is going, DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK TO HIM IF HE'S MID-COMBO. If that doesn't work, you could start hitblocking and jumping until he gets knocked far enough away that you can run and fix youreslf.
3. Whenever you feel the need to. An instant health II heals 4 hearts, keep in mind.

1. The more you get destroyed in those ladders the better you get in time
2. Just turn back then counter-attack, it works for me.
3. Whenever you feel like you are in danger, I use to be confused on when to insta and it ended up fucking me over, but now I learned you insta when you feel like you need to. Don't be afraid about how many insta's you have left, just remember the person you are fighting may have the same amount or even less of them left.

You may improve faster playing Kohi/HCF type ladders because you would not encounter people who use KB swords, spam poison II debuffs, etc which wouldn't allow you to practice PVPing properly and the people who play these ladders tend to be more experienced generally so you'll improve faster fighting better opponents.Ender Pearl away. If your pearl is in cooldown, turn your back and run away like Mycroz said or if the combo isn't too bad then try to blockhit to knock him back and end the combo like Cavasi said.
Never triple splash and other than that, just keep in mind that a splash health II heals 4 hearts like Cavasi mentioned :)

1. I've been playing vanilla for like forever now and that is what got me good at pvp. I seriously recommend Kohi kit though, its very fun and can be challenging if you don't adapt to it. Vanilla teaches reflexes and potting/debuffing fast. I believe that debuffing fast and accurate is an essential part of pot pvp and is extremely useful.2. In contradiction to what Cavasi said, you can turn your back on a combo whenever you feel like it. The way I get out of a combo is run for a little bit and pot for full health and then turn around and start blockhitting to get them off of you. On the other hand, you can always turn around and pearl to get him/her off of your ass.
3. The best number of hearts to insta at is about 4.5 - 5 hearts. If you are low less than 4 hearts though, a double splash is required.
Extra Notes: Try learning to jitterclick, it helps a lot.
Try improving accuracy because that is basically what determines who wins and who doesn't.

Thanks guys, and Tundrin about jitter clicking, I play on a Mac Air laptop and I use a trackpad, I'm really good for it. I use f to attack and r to block, it's actually really simple to learn.https://www.badlion.net/match/kitpvp/2911855
