My third strength is free-hits, however this is not always going to work and is a risk, so only do it with enough practice otherwise it could quickly become a disadvantage, but if you are able to be unpredictable and jump up randomly, without rodding and land a free crit on someone that is a massive advantage especially on small maps, doing this throughout the game will keep your opponent on their toes continuously making them choke a lot.

But you need to find what play style suites you best and play at it.

a lot of it is also about countering, like you have to know when to rodcrit and when not to, you also have to know when to counter someone elses rodcrit. SG is just mainly based on moves and countermoves, I usually wait till the other player makes the first move and then i try and counter it and after that I just try and catch in an fns or bow spam or do both

I played against u one time and u need to crit. First of all u should try to use the fns, if he set on fire you must bow him till he is low, if he isnt that good you should go for him n try to kill him, if u set on fire, go back and gapple, if u have no healing and u r low go meele and crit.

'if he set on fire you must bow him' This doesn't work for all scenarios, such as if you are low and need to conserve arrows you would only use the fire to by you time to regen and even the playing field.

Playing defensive is a play style and is not 'playing like a bitch' as every player needs to be defensive sometimes, you can complain about rod spamming as much as you want, but I can safely say you will or have used it.

Yeah after I got drained whilst being Diamond III I gave up with the season, and started just playing at disadvantages to try and beat players, so i've gone from Diamond III to Emerald I xD

yah ur right, defensive playstyle, i just call it playing like a bitch cuz im a little annoyed at it. you're also right that i have spammed rod at times. the difference is that i dont approach a fight defensively like nearly everyone does in ranked sg. i do play defensive if i really need to reset a fight but i dont instantly pull out the bow or start running if im lower or in a tough spot.. i try and beat them when they have the advantage still because thats how u get good in my opinion. i dont think you get better playing safe but thats just me. i mean im not gonna tell u how to play but thats just how i see defensive play
