Honestly, to be competitive AU needs a reduced number of ranked kits, the amount of kits spreads the small Australian community too thin.

I think that Australia would be much better with only for kits available in ranked, these would be:

• BuildUHC
• NoDebuff
• SG
• Soup

In my eyes, these are four very diverse kits that span almost all communities other than TnT factions, and having only four kits available would make grinding in Australia much more enjoyable as many players dont even touch many of the kits anyway as its impossible to find games for them unless you organised it ahead of time.

For players from other regions, you have to understand that at peak time on the weekend it takes between 30-120 seconds to queue a BuildUHC match and around 2-3 minutes for a NoDebuff match, other kits will not happen unless you convince someone in chat to queue you. I believe having only four kits would offer a wider variety than the two kits mention above, as quite often SG/Soup players wont bother with their kits and just play Build/Nod because of the lower queue times, but this would allow them to play properly.

If I was going to add more kits, I would add what I call 'fundamentals'

• GApple
• Archer

These are essentially the main game modes, but with everything else removed, can be fun too.

Honestly I would enjoy having a limited amount of kits, being; Build UHC, SG, Archer, Nodebuff, Gapple, Iron. I tried getting up to Emerald V Global on AU for S14 but it is honestly way too hard and it has pushed people to MMR manipulate just to get a decent rating. Right now there is only 10 or so people who even play ranked anymore and they only play a few matches. Build UHC is the only kit that gets queued and for someone as high of a ranking as me I have to sit in the queue for up to 10 minutes sometimes just to find a game against a silver.

The only real problem with doing this is that it would make global rankings unfair as AU players will rank up much faster.
