Type /settings and at the bottom left (pretty sure) it gives you an option to "Hide SG Rating".Not sure if it's only for donors, I'm not sure, try it.

Also if you click the paper on hotbar in sg lobby, you will see a sword 2 grey dye and a name tag. One of the dyes will say hide sg rank, and the other will say hide sg stats. Click the one (or both) that you want to apply.
