So I think I play too aggresive in Build and not that safe/defensive at all. Im decent at long range, but really bad at short to mid range (which I used to be better at, before I got IP banned) And again im asking for tips xD My aim seems to be good, but my bowstrafe is pretty bad any tips for it. I tried doing it in different ways, but for some odd reason dodging seems to be better than strafing in Iron/Build/UHCPosted on 17 July 2017 - 03:35 PM
dont know watch some videos and try to adapt their playstylesPosted on 17 July 2017 - 03:39 PM
start learning science or read a book instead of investing that time into a bowstrafePosted on 17 July 2017 - 04:27 PM

imo its just practice, just play iron/uhc 24/7 and eventually you'll get good at it. I don't think other people's strafe would work because anyone just could read the strafe and beat youPosted on 17 July 2017 - 09:18 PM
Doesn't help when you don't play ranked.Posted on 17 July 2017 - 10:16 PM
There is no exact strafe that works best. You should try to switch up the way you strafe as much as possible, and try to aviod arrows if you know where the other person is shooting. Don't favor strafing to the left/right, and try to fake shoot so they don't predict your movement as well.Posted on 18 July 2017 - 08:10 AM
Especially in Iron, bowing is incredibly important and can be more lethal that Melee combos. I think it is much better to preserve arrows in this gamemode and when you believe the opponent is at a disadvantage, approach them quickly while shooting bow quickly (not at full power) and proceed to strafe/dodge their arrows should they be firing at you. After dealing a few hits, try to come in for a Melee fight to wrap it up. Try and use the bow to start the combo. Should they be bow spamming you then retreat and start over. I have seen many Iron games finished just by using the bows and not using the sword once. I personally don't like this so stick to that guide up there and you should be good. It's not anything to complex but it seems to work for me.As for the other two gamemodes, I really don't play them but I'm assuming since the armour is better than the armour in 'Iron' then the bow will be less useful.
Hope this helped in any way.
