New Computer I built HELP!

So I basically built my own computer but I'm stuck on the last hurdle.I plugged a vga cable from the pc and the case/mobo/fans all work and the monitor works but it doesnt recognize it. so it keeps saying no signal :/ help?

Try taking out all of your ram, blow any dust off, put the ram back in and then take out your CMOS battery, wait a good 30 seconds or so and put it back in. From here you should just have to reboot your PC and hopefully it'll work.Here is what your CMOS battery should look like on your motherboard just in case you weren't sure:
