Do you think Ultra's future ArenaPvP and UHCM could be a good competition for Badlion?
If you could make your own staff team for your own server, what would it look like? Who would you "hire"?
Name a few gamemodes that you think could potentially fit a competitive minecraft environment.

Discord.
Not sure, probably one of the Star Wars original trilogy.
A lot of things, but most importantly public relations and Arena.
You're a really fun guy to talk to, but we're not as close as we used to be because we're both very opinionated and you're pretty sensitive about when other people disagree with you sometimes.

My opinion of you hasn't really changed since my last AMA. You're both smart and resourceful, and you have a tendency to know things about the community that most people don't.

It's seemed to me throughout your time as staff and after you resigned that you never really want to talk to me, is this true or is it just a coincidence we're on at completely opposite times?
What college are you looking to get into and/or what profession?
I'd make myself head of staff :^)
But seriously, that's a very broad question. I'd probably do a few things - try and more actively look for inactive staff, and also staff who regularly false ban or otherwise act improperly, and essentially give them an ultimatum to fix what they're doing wrong or resign. I'd also try to improve the current training we have for both mods and seniors, and standardize the mentor system a bit more.
To be honest, I never felt like I clicked particularly well with you. You always seemed like a good mod, just not necessarily someone I'd go out of my way to be good friends with.
I'm going to try to go to Carnegie Mellon most likely, and potentially be a software engineer.

I started playing back in 2011 or 2012. The first real server I played was MCSG in the summer of 2012, when a friend and I heard about the gamemode and googled it.
My opinion of you hasn't changed since the last AMA - you seem smart and like a good CM, but no one is doing what I want from CM right now.

Well, I said only 5 questions but these are all really good.
To be honest, nothing about the staff team management changing could really make me want to come back. Nerd is a great head of arena and my boy LukeWilliams is already manager, so the people in management are pretty good. As for the actual management itself, I'd want seniors to feel more valued and less like appeals bots, but that alone would never make me come back.
I would, I loved my time on here.
I have two, depending on the mood I'm in. One is not resigning sooner, and the other is resigning at all.
Ultra is UHC. Pass. But to answer that question more globally, I'm not interested in doing any more basic moderation, ever. I plan to do some development for other servers later on, but until I'm good enough to develop, I'd gladly accept a staff management position on nearly any server. So TL;DR for me to take another staffing position on a server, they'd probably have to offer me some type of staff management position.
Ultra can be great competition for Badlion, but I wish they'd stop slapping each other with their dicks.
If I could grab anyone from the Badlion team, I'd snatch a lot of the Badlion admins in an instant. Freekkiller, McNerd, HalfCreeper, Lenavision, and of course Gberry especially. I'd also want a bunch of my friends, and people who I consider good at hack checking: snapbeans, you, Darkening, Cheekyff, Lukewilliams, _Link, Realsportsfan, jpalm, Danieus, etc.
As for what the staff team would look like, well, I've thought deeply about the best possible staff system. I think what I would use is a four tiered system with trials, mods, two senior positions, and admins. The two senior positions would be managers and reviewers, and they would be equally powerful within the team, and it would be possible to hold both positions. Reviewers would be selected purely off of their hack checking skill, and would be in charge of appeals and borderline bans, similar to Badlion seniors. Reviewer would override their mod position. Managers would watch over small subgroups of staff, similar to Badlion managers, and would not override their mod position, so they'd be expected to have some basic activity. Only staff with both the Reviewer and Manager rank can manage other reviewers.
So what's the benefit of all this? Badlion values management skill over hackchecking ability in their tiered system (with the slight exception of GCheat admins). However, both are valuable skills for a server and both should be equally valued, and recognized as different skills. On Badlion, any manager can override senior decisions, even though they were selected for management abilities rather than hack checking abilities. Separating the two skills and acknowledging the rare people who are very good at both by giving them both positions would be my ideal staff system. There's a bit more to it than that, but I don't want to make this an essay.
Any game with block interaction can become very competitive. Probably a modified and rebalanced version of bedwars, along with some more OCN gamemodes like capture the wool.
Opinion hasn't changed much. You remind me a lot of uMental on twitter - you both meme a lot (and with some really fucked up memes at that) but you're also both very smart and thoughtful when you get serious.

Any tips for me :^)
You seem like a nice guy, if immature at times. It feels like you've been wanting staff for ages now so it's good to see that you finally got it. Don't fuck it up.
The mentor system and its success depends almost entirely on which mentor you get, because there's insufficient mentoring of the mentors.
Probably Inheritance by Christopher Paolini.
I used to play piano but I don't anymore.
I won't rule it out. Once I'm 18 and have a year of additional experience with Minecraft coding, I'd love to come back as a dev. Bit of a longshot though.
Read my answer to UVPickles' question about how to moderate well. Also, take your time and don't focus too much on promotion. Instead, just try and enjoy your time moderating.

I'm doing pretty well. Nothing in my life is going incredibly well or incredibly wrong, so things just sort of are what they are. Hbu?

I'm considering it, but I'm wondering if I'm too toxic nowadays and how much I'd actually be able to help. I appreciate that though <3
The one thing that's changed is I feel like you're a bit uninformed since that sexuality thread - you said some stuff that was outdated to say the least. The rest of my opinion is still the same.
