Hypixel took an existing but unpopular gamemode, optimized it for their playerbase, and marketed to them expertly. In some ways, yes, they hit an untapped goldmine, but they were brilliant in the way they went about it. Bedwars is one of my favorite gamemodes in MC right now, and I think, with some alterations, it could easily become one of the most skill based gamemodes in existence.
Trump is in deep shit. The thing is, nothing in politics ever happens quickly, and I wouldn't be surprised if he made it another year or two, though at this point I do doubt that he'll manage to finish out his term. However, his son has pretty much colluded with a foreign power, and that's only what the public knows. I can't imagine that Mueller (the special prosecutor for the investigation, if anyone doesn't know) hasn't already found even more damning evidence.
Everyone is biased, but not everyone is corrupt. Some people let their bias affect them more than others.

Badlion is doing okay. They're getting absolutely fucked in public relations by Ultra and MineHQ, which kinda sucks, but they can definitely bounce back from it in the near future. I don't think they'll ever become an eSport but they have room to grow.

Promotions on Badlion, in my experience, are a mix of your ability as a mod, how long you've been staff, how much the higher-ups like or dislike you, and a sort of "randomness factor" that leads to some really inexplicable promotions and snubs sometimes. My promotion was at least one batch early - while I was a good mod at the time, there were a number who were better than me and more experienced, and my promotion was at least partially random.
In theory, seniors were once the best blue tags, so they should be prepared for handling more complex reports. In reality, they should receive much more training than they do.
Seniors need more training, and they occasionally feed into a sort of "hive mentality". For example, myself and a number of other seniors deemed a piece of blatant evidence insufficient, and freekkiller had to @ us all and yell at us for being dumb. Looking back on it, it was obvious.
I worry that there's too little accountability on the staff team. Staffing isn't a real job and we need to recognize that people are busy and sometimes can't moderate much, but some staff certainly abuse the LOA system to avoid doing real work while keeping their tag. My opinion is that the administrators need to find a punishment lighter than demotion (but still substantial) to motivate staff to do their work without kicking them off the team for what could be a temporary issue.
I gave you a long opinion six months ago and it hasn't really changed. You seem to be doing a good job as staff again, and I haven't really heard much from you. Hope you're having a good time as staff.

I like how we all come together for certain things, and I like the genuine, nontoxic people I've met on the way. Everyone who says gf after I beat them in a fight has my love.
I hate how much everyone follows trends and memes rather than thinking things through. Youtubers also have waaaaaay too much sway.
There are various. It's hard to isolate one as the worst, and as much as I talk about the flaws of the team, overall it's pretty strong and well organized.
Emotions shouldn't play as large of a role as logic in decisionmaking, but at a certain level, you should do whatever makes you happy whenever possible.
