Before I start with this I don't want this to be taken as an insult or disrespect to the badlion premium team or staff, this is just my opinion on its current state.I really think it's a good idea, and with the right tools it can revitalized the dying competitive minecraft scene. My issues with it are just a couple few, but they're what's stopping me from opening up the premium client instead of overwatch. It just doesn't feel good. I'm not really sure where the 128 tps fits in, but what I've noticed from the couple fights I've had is that it just doesn't feel like minecraft. 1.8 or not, animation fixes or not, I just don't really enjoy the way it feels. It's something that can't really be quantified, just described. I'm not sure if it's the 1.8 part or 128 tps part, it just doesn't feel natural.
Another issue that I have with its current state is the process of joining. Premium members are already limited enough, and the majority of them are legacy donors. With such a limited pool of players, getting into a fight is fairly difficult. PUG is a no-go, I probably won't ever get a PUG game anytime soon, so it's just the 1v1 League. The cash prizes are a good incentive, but nobody plays the other kits. People barely queue build, so when it comes to UHC and NoDebuff, nobody ever queues.
My last issue is the process of startup. I've been promised that this will be fixed in version 1.X, but with each update I don't see the improvement I've been looking for. What I mean is that when I get into a match, I load up the game and it's not 100% that I even get into the fight. It's slow and tedious, and a lot of the times I lose the game because I can't even get into it.
Now, there's no point in making a giant shitpost if it's just complaining so I am hoping to offer suggestions that might be considered. Perhaps temporarily opening premium to the general public might give premium the stress testing it never really received. Perhaps a "free weekend" or something to debug and fix a lot of tiny aesthetic/mechanical issues that don't make it feel natural. Also, for my last issue, a system like Overwatch might make the startups more consistent. When you click "1v1 League", or just the client, it opens minecraft. From there you can choose what it is you want to play, that way you can make the startup more consistent.
I reiterate that I really don't mean any disrespect to the staff or client, I just want to help out in the little way I'm able to. Thanks for reading

1. More people would play it if you didn't have to load a new every time you find a game. I've stressed this a lot.2. Partners/Youtubers need to advertise 1v1 league. Regardless if you like or dislike premium, having 4.5k prize pool should be more than a good enough insensitive to play the league. The problem is that not enough people know about the prize badlion premium offers.
3. Things like adding custom sky and including more mods would make the game look more attractive. It kinda seems ugly compare to regular minecraft at the moment.

Why can't it be 1.7 anyways? Every other client is 1.7 and there is badlion with 1.8Posted on 24 July 2017 - 11:18 AM

It's easier to program and develop using 1.8 than 1.7 plus premium made 1.7 options so it feels like 1.7

I barely even get loaded into the game when I join, either get an error or the client crashes. When it actually works, I never get more than 30 fps.Posted on 25 July 2017 - 01:08 PM

I honestly wasted money on premium, literally had less than 30 fights in 3 months.Posted on 26 July 2017 - 06:43 AM
