As far as I see it, team based gamemodes seem to be the most popular and competitive as far as the competitive Minecraft scene goes. Badlion has an arsenal of gamemodes which could be used for a competitive tournament at any time, these include but are certainly not limited to: SG, Arena 5v5, CTF, CTW, Bedwars, etc. Each gamemode requires a different set of skill, strategy and approach to the game.I was a huge fan of the 1v1 League and excited to be able to earn cash from something I play casually already, however, my experience was awful. I haven't been able to find matches unless I specifically asked my friends if they wanted to try it out, and the two times this happened I wasn't even able to load up the client. This isn't to say the idea of 1v1 League is a failure, moreso a project which isn't complete and needs more refining in order to become a stable project. So, what has already peaked player interest on Badlion and shown to be competitive and skillful? Assorted 5v5 gametypes.
Badlion consists of four major regions, EU, NA, AU and SA. Having an end of month tournament (or even bi-monthly) with $4500 (or $9000 if bi-monthly) split equally across all regions (or even potentially EU/NA having a larger revenue share, it sucks for me to propose this but they do have a larger share of players) every single player has the opportunity to form a team and prepare for the gamemode being played for that specific month. The rotating pool of gamemodes caters to multiple types of players, as such someone who dominates in arena may be far less favoured in CTF/SG. Furthermore having an official tournament monthly encourages activity and competition across all four regions. This is much needed in AU, SA and to a lesser extent EU as they're having their first official cash prize tournament soon.
The gamemodes already exist, you already have the funds to provide for an equal prize pool across all four regions and previous results show that competitive 5v5 gamemodes are popularly received by the playerbase, and that's when every single tournament is hosted on NA. Opening up to all 3 other major regions encourages more activity, more players and in return grows the scene that you're desperate to start. If monthly cash 5v5 tournaments spread across every region in order to cater towards more players doesn't peak player interest then in all honesty, nothing will.

I think getting around this issue where you no longer has to open up a new game in order for you to fight someone would encourage more people to play the league
2. The lack of advertisement for the league meant that few people even knew about it in the 1st place. I didn't see any of the badlion partners, or other big youtubers publish any content of the 1v1 league. The way I see it, regardless if you like or dislike the premium experience a 4.5k prize pool should be a good incentive to play regardless. I'd buy a game that I disliked if there was such a generous prize on the table.
Overall The League has a lot of potential. Changing how queuing system works and getting youtubers/partners to advertise it would make a big difference.
Agree with the partner things, if they're partner they should advertise bl premium/ 1v1 league

Its not bs, AU has never had an official tournament (unless you include champs games I guess…) and EU has had one before and the 5v5 tournament is EU. I would get your facts straight there pal, even a simple look at the 'Official Events' section would do.

The last EU tournament hosted by badlion was in march 2016 and the prizes were ranks not cash. Naimsm is right although EU has the biggest player base they have significantly less tournaments than NA.

Because the player base in AU ain't as high as the one in NA and EU, and because in NA everyone can play since this is where everyone get a ''decent ping'', in AU only the AU players will be able to play since players from the other regions would get 500 ms, I do think that a tournament in SA should be the priority for Badlion, not Au.

I think the money really shouldn't be going into UHC and Arena but the 5v5 game modes (aka the future of competitive). There is a small community in badlion if teams that play these game modes and if more money went into small tourneys or promoting these game modes, this can grow and the community can hopefully shift its focus over to these game modes. And as others have said, advertisement is essentially by the partners, ESL and somebody who focuses on marketing seems essential if premium is to kick off

It's late for the Arena one, but ctf i think deserved like 1.5k or 2k of prize pool and a bigger team size of 9 players, that would be cool because would be more money per player and also bigger team size reduce the "no show" or "dq's"Also i'm still waiting for a rush tournament with something like 2k of prize pool, i think ESL loves this gamemode due to the last Minecraft Major. I prefer ctf anyway.

Since top 5 in each kit can't get the huge prize pool could we get a cosmetic case instead for our efforts?

Because it's nice and it wouldn't hurt for them to donate some money (not the whole prize pool)
