So my old graphics card (Nvidia Geforce GT 610) was bugged and didn't let the screen work,when we took the graphics card out of the pc, the pc was working fine, so now me and my parents sent the graphics card for repair and now my pc doesn't have a graphics card :v . So me being a typical mc gay ass nerd decided to try mc without a graphics card , I was thinking to get like 20 fps and just when I turned it on , I was getting 100+ fps, the only area I got 30 fps was the badlion main lobby. I also had 100+ fps on a shitty laptop without a graphics card but in uhc it was like 15-45 thank god i got 300 fps in uhc and over 500 everywhere elsePosted on 25 July 2017 - 01:24 PM
Most CPUs have built in graphics. They aren't enough to handle the majority of games in full detail, but its enough to run simple games such as minecraft in lower settings. The GT610 is an older card, which is probably why you aren't noticing much difference. Taking a 1060 out of a computer would yield different effects.AKA the graphics card is probably aging or, as it is already, getting repairs. It could have been slowing you down due to whatever reason. I suggest not relying on the built-in graphics too long - graphics cards most always have better performances than built-in.

Minecraft generally isn't a beefy game. As said, the graphics already inside your GPU is enough to run MC. I play on a mac air and get 200 fps just because it is on it's lowest settings.Posted on 26 July 2017 - 03:18 AM

Using Minecraft 1.8.x, you can see what Graphics Card you're using in the debug menu (F3).Anyhow, if you don't have one, it's probably the one built into your CPU - Intel HD Graphics
