Let's take a history lesson:Back in the S11 and S12 days, people would share accounts to become the "best player" on the network. For an example, the account "DANTEH" had three different players that played on it: Danteh, the UHC and pot player, Doe, a bow player, and Hivlik, who did all the other shit. They played on "DANTEH" and eventually got the best global. This wasn't fair to others because they could create a superplayer that mashed all of their strengths together. Badlion believed that this wasn't the best competitive environment, so they banned it.
Also, famous streamers would hop on other accounts to continue to play in UHCs
