Cold Weapons question

Recently badlion's test games have a gamemode called cold weapons. What is cold weapons? can someone explain or give me a thread explaining this.Thanks,

Essentially it is an update to fireless in which all forms of fire based enchants are disabled. Fire damage is still on though so I think FnS and lava buckets still work, but I am not sure.
