Badlion 2.0 - Badlion Client 1.2 Update
Last edited on 31 August 2017 - 10:08 PM by Archybot

Welcome to the future of Minecraft PvP on Badlion! The community has spoken and today we deliver the top demands for the Badlion Client!
1.7.10 Minecraft Compatible!
The community is very fond of Minecraft 1.7. So much that many of you would not touch the Badlion Client unless it was a true 1.7.10 client. I am excited to share with all of you today that the Badlion Client supports a 1.7.10 build of Minecraft!
Packed inside of this Minecraft 1.7.10 build is:
- The best Minecraft client anticheat available - Badlion Anticheat (BAC)
- A Vanilla 1.7.10 client
- Betterframes optimizations
- All our custom built mods like Minimap, PotionStatus, ArmorStatus, Keystrokes, etc
- Anti-Xray System - Use your own texture packs but it blocks illegal textures
Optifine Compatible!
Probably the largest complaint next to the lack of 1.7.10 was being able to use Optifine with the Badlion Client. Why is optifine awesome? Because it helps you guys get higher FPS while playing Minecraft! We are still working on our own FPS optimizations which are all under the Betterframes menu, but we thought it would be even cooler if you guys got FPS boosts from Optifine and from Betterframes!
You also can now see Optifine capes! We have no intentions of adding our own cape to the Badlion Client at the moment. You can download Optifine from the official optifine websites here: http://optifine.net/downloads
PLEASE NOTE: Only OptiFine 1.7.10 HD U D7 and OptiFine 1.7.10 HD U D8 are compatible with the Badlion Client! If you have an older version you need to go download one of these newer versions and INSTALL IT.
PLEASE NOTE: You need to install Optifine on your computer and not just drop it into your mods folder in .minecraft. To install Optifine after you download it from the link above you need to double click the jar, get to this screen:
and click "Install". After you have installed it the Badlion Client will automatically detect and load in Optifine when you are trying to run the Badlion Client. Later we will add an option to disable this if you want to, but at the moment Optifine is automatically loaded in.
The Future of Betterframes
We are going to keep making Betterframes better and better each patch for the Badlion Client for quite a bit of time still. This update does not have as many performance improvements yet for 1.7 because a lot of our patches for 1.8 don't port directly into 1.7. We also wanted to get this update out quickly for the CTF tournament happening this weekend. We are dedicated to make the Badlion Client the best Minecraft launcher in existence, and we will keep improving the Badlion Client as time continues onward.
1.8, Badlion Client, and future updates to GUI
Badlion Client will support 1.8.9 again in the near future, but is currently disabled because of the new systems. This version of the client is currently disabled as we strip old code out of it (128tps) and prepare it for the new systems we've put into place in this update. 1.8 should shortly return to us with Optifine support just like 1.7, alongside all of the old Betterframes patches. Once 1.8 is supported again, all development forces will now be focused solely on the new GUI inside the game and FPS optimizations, as we no longer have to spend a monumental amount of resources on premium and 128tps.

I hope everyone is super excited about the Badlion Client 1.2 update! It's been in the works for a very long time but we wanted to make sure it was as feature/bug fix packed as possible. We can't wait to see all of your videos showing off your Badlion Client gameplay and proving to everyone you are legit using the Badlion Anticheat (BAC).
Any bug reports should be put here (and please follow the format thread there): https://www.badlion.net/forum/category/108
