Welcome everyone to UHC Run on Badlion Network! We have taken the awesome UHC Run gamemode originally created by SamaGames and then made popular by Epicube and brought it to Badlion and 1.7 Minecraft!
This has been a work in progress for a few months now on Badlion in the background. We have worked with some of our old partners to help put together a good blend of fun and competitiveness for UHC Run.
Reminder that this is a beta, and we will be adjusting things based on feedback over the next couple of weeks. There might be some bugs here and there too. Be patient with us as always and we will make the patience pay off.
What is UHC Run?
UHC Run is a sped up version of UHC. By default the following gamemodes are enabled:
- Cutclean (Don't need to smelt ores and gravel always drops flint)
- Double Ores (Double ores…need I say more?)
- Tree Feller (Trees instantly break if you break one log, doesn't work when being shifted)
These gamemodes help speed up the UHC process. Other things to note are:
- All players have Speed I.
- Ores spawn at un-vanilla like levels such as gold/redstone spawning near the surface.
- Tools you create are automatically upgraded/enchanted.
- Golden Apples have a chance of dropping from trees when broken.
- When mining obsidian you are given Haste II (makes you mine obsidian faster).
- Placing TNT will automatically ignite it (doesn't work when being shifted).
- Breaking sand gives you glass instead of sand.
- Pigs/Cows/Sheep/Horses all have a 100% drop rate of leather.
- Creepers drop TNT.
- Zombies drop cooked steak.
- Golden Apples heal 4 hearts instead of 2 hearts (similar to Golden Heads).
- There are 4 mini Nethers in the Overworld providing everything you should normally have to go to the nether for. There is 1 in each quadrant on random coords.
- At 15 minutes PvP is enabled.
- At 15 minutes everyone is also teleported inside of the 150x150 (radius) zone.
- At 20 minutes the border will shrink every 3 seconds by 1.
- At 25 minutes the border reaches 50x50 (radius) and stops shrinking.
- At 30 minutes deathmatch starts
What have we done differently with UHC Run?
We are working on a rating algorithm that should be ready later in the beta for UHC Run. In addition to the rating system we have also imported some of your favorite game modes into UHC Run. You can automatically vote at the start of a game between:
- UHC Run Classic
- NoClean
- Timebomb
- Cold Weapons
With these game modes, the random generated maps, and all of the changes mentioned above we think that UHC Run will truly be a unique experience on Badlion Network. We hope you guys share your feedback and ideas with us so we can keep on improving this gamemode.
Stats will soon be available on the website along with your recent matches.
When can I start playing? I don't care about the rest of your announcement thread!
You can start playing it today! The game mode is in open beta to everyone, just use the NPC in the hub and start playing right away.

I want to play with a friend. Is teaming allowed?
Fear not! We love playing with our friends online. This is why we are already releasing UHC Run with teams of 2 (To2) today!
This means teaming in FFA games will be forbidden. Teaming beyond the size of 2 in To2 games will be forbidden.
What regions is UHC Run available on?
It's already live across all regions on Badlion Network. Join up on any hub and start playing right away.
Conclusion
We think that UHC Run will give players another option to enjoy the UHC styled games on Badlion when they either miss one of our regularly hosted games, die early, or are looking for a faster version to play where they don't need to commit as much time.

One thing I'd like to point out: PvP with stuff, obtained in UHC will fell a bit broken, if Speed I enabled.I suggest removing Speed I when 15 minutes in-game, the time when PvP starts too.

The speed is removed when you are teleported after 15 minutes & at the same time pvp is enabled. So only way to have speed during pvp is actually making speed pots.
