Unable to set my Youtube channel as my Youtube Username on the "About" page on my profile.Last edited on 12 August 2017 - 06:37 AM by MaccariTA
As we can see it is redirecting to youtube.com/user/XXX which only exists if you created your channel before Google+.It should be replaced with youtube.com/XXXX/XXXX so it would fit both of the users.
Edit:
Better idea is using this format : youtube.com/(based on X length)/XXXX whereas the user text length affects the other text.

I've been trying to figure this out for the past 10 min, but I don't really understand what you are trying to say. youtube.com/user/XXX? the XXX stands for https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUn-n9Dhv0mjn9fOrPQYmFw I guess? So I should type youtube.com/UCUn-n9Dhv0mjn9fOrPQYmFw/UCUn-n9Dhv0mjn9fOrPQYmFw ? That doesn't work for me… Could you explain or just give the right link to me?

As of this moment you can't fix this.
I'll explain,
if you opened your channel before Google+ merge it would be like www.youtube.com/user/MaccariTAch
if you opened your user after Google+ merge it is www.youtube.com/channel/RANDOM_LETTERS
Right now, I think Badlion is using the following format: www.badlion.net/user/USER_INPUT and therefore if your account was made after the Google+ merge, it is not possible to link it.

Your example is not related to Badlion.
It is a bug because he (and many others) can't link their YT account.

it's a badlion forum related bug, that makes you unable to post your youtube channel in the about section.
