Client bug Please help urgent

Im not sure if this is the right section, first day on forums, but i am experiencing a bug on the badlion client. when i try to launch it, it keeps displaying this message 'checking for micro updates…' and it stays like that forever. What should i do?https://imgur.com/gallery/aBdOQ

ok i just looked through the logs and there is this "Couldn't locate the java location upon installation. Either this is a first-time installation or something's wrong. Guess we'll see when the java downloader is done."Do i not have the updated java or smth?
