Elo Question

Currently whenever you kill someboday, you get 8 elo regardless and their elo and if you die, you lose 8 elo regardless of their rank. Is this going to be true for Season 15 or is it just for the beta? I hope they bring back the elo system before Season 14 and stuff. Also, it sais in changed (username) ranked up to Platinum. you do not always gain/lose 8 elo you can lose more and win more, same vise versa. You typically gain 8 or lose 8 if you fight someone in around the 0-100 range of you. For example im a 2006 elo and I gain 1 elo from anyone 1550 and below and I can gain 2 from around 1600 players, but if i fight another 2000 player I can win 8 or lose 8. However if im a 2k and lose to a 1400 player I lose 14 elo. the ranked up to platinum is just the name of the rank that goes along with the elo the player has. For example 1500 is gold and 1700 is platinum and 1900 is emerald and it keeps going. Hope this helped!Posted on 15 August 2017 - 04:05 PM

So basically, 1400 elo is the default, and it goes as shown below:
Below 1400 ELO - Bronze
1400 - 1499 ELO - Silver
1500 - 1699 ELO - Gold
1700 - 1899 ELO - Platinum
1900 - 2099 ELO - Emerald
2100 - 2299 ELO - Diamond
Above 2300 ELO - Masters
Is that how it works? If so, why did they add Platinum?

1900-2099 is emerald2100-2199 is sapphire
2300-2499 is diamond
2500+ is masters
Grand masters is next I believe grand masters is awarded to the highest rated masters in each kit I'am not to sure Badlion has not specified what grand masters is just yet at least from what I know.
