The point of this thread is to talk about the current pros and cons about the forums, and what is necessary for improvement. Feel free to answer these questions, suggest your own ideas, and elaborate off other responses.Here are some common suggestions:
There should be a way to report someone's post/thread
- Is this necessary?
- Will it make a difference in terms of removing toxicity?
- Is it worth adding if there are people who could abuse it?
There should be some sort of signature/profile customization
- Will this do more harm than good?
- Is the community too toxic and immature to handle creative freedom in something like this?
- Will this be too much of a nuisance for the staff team to control?
- Will this make the forums more fun/more interactive?
The format of the forums should change
- Is this necessary?
- Is the color scheme unique and make the forums "Badlion's forums"?
- What about the format should be changed?
- What about the format should be kept the same?
- Is the forums good how it is now?
Add new forum categories for new gamemodes
- Is this necessary?
- If there were new categories added, what should they be?
- Should all gamemodes get their own forum category?
- How should it be determined which forum category does, or doesn't, get added?
Add some sort of follow mechanic to get notifications when a thread is posted on

- Of course keep the forums clean
- Nope
- There's no way of abusing this rule
There should be some kind of signature/profile customization
-It's neutral there are some people that will be immature but some who will take it seriously/ MasterGBerry said no to this suggestion 1 year ago I suggested this already. All I have to say

- Original and people may complain and like I've said the little things matter but maybe there could be a aqua to switch off the formats

- No they'll be inactive
- Nothing else should be added but maybe a temporary tournament forum when there's big tournaments coming up

- It will be annoying and I don't want to get a notification when someone posts on my thread but neutral because some people might so just add a button to turn it on and off

- Stopping the spam in the Off topic section
- It will be the same but on a different section

I'd add a forum punishment page where you get offenses for certain things and stop forum alting cause fheyll come back and ruin it more I've had a bad history before with ddosing threads, cheats, racism but some of those kinds of threads should have a severe punishment like the ones on normal punishments
- Stuff like racism should be a 3 day forum ban
- Alting should be a ban on that account and a IP Forum Ban
- Discussion of Punishments should be a month

- Will this help make discussions more interactive? Honestly I've been a member on a few forums and this is a really nice feature. It'd also be nice to see how many "followers," you have and who they are on your profile page.

I like basically all of these suggestions and when the time comes that the forums gets a re-skin I hope some of these are added.

Make it possible to add a reaction to a post for example "Like," "Useful," "Agree," "Friendly," etc and then show the amount of reactions a person has received on their forums profiles
Staff online tab
Self explanatory, make a tab on the forums that shows all staff currently on the forums and what they are also viewing. This could be taken a step further to show what staff are actually online making the staff team more accessible.
Forum ranks
I think we should acknowledge those active users so I feel like there should be certain ranks.
Active member - 1000 posts or 50 likes [If the reactions system was integrated] etc. Need to properly think of ranks.

Oh yes please, love all of it. However for reactions senior+ and above should be able to remove reactions because I can see some people just ruining the meaning of it like trolling and putting meaningless reactions on messages. People should also be able to be "banned" or having permission to add reactions removed if they are rapidly abusing the reaction system.
(if we're having negative reactions)

I made sure not to put any negative reactions such as "Disagree," or "Incorrect," so people dom't abuse it but I doubt it would bet abused but there should be a punishment for reaction boosting or something like that

No, "clan recruitement" shouldn't be a thing, it should be called "Clans" with subforums for each region and global clans should be in the normal clans section, there should be a pinned thread where follow a format like "ign, past clans, ping, region, best kits, etc" so that there's one place to check for clan leaders to find new members. One thing that the forum badly needs in my opinion is a "What's New" or "Latest" section that's just a mix of every section sorted by last reply. This should be the front page of the forums and it would allow people to just come on and see a mix of new/active threads.
