So in Player Council chat there have been alot of arguments about team and clan relations and this is my thought on it. I think teams should be formed inside clans, so if there are 50 players in a clan, there maybe 5 or 6 teams. The teams would be labeled separately. (Ex. Etheral Alpha, Etheral Beta, Etheral Gamma, etc) Of course what you label them by does not matter. This could bring back competitiveness in clans. Teams could duel other teams for clan points. Example - Etheral Beta challenges Ominous Pink to a (kit / kits), (ctf or ctw), or (sg) scrim / battle. Scrims would obviously not count and battles would have to be agreed by both clans. If Etheral beats Ominous, Etheral's clan score would become 1, but Ominous would not lose any. There could be clan season that kept track of the points, and this could lead to more clans in the future. Teams would consist of 5 main players, 3 subs. You can not change teams mid scrim / battle.This would keep the clan active and make it more than a group of friends. A clan lobby could be made for the two clans to join, and spectators. They would be required to be in a party of 5 to challenge the other, and /sub would be a thing just like in CTF and CTW. The clan lobby would mostly be for Arena, since other gamemodes have their own lobby.

+1So clans would become more of a friends group thing? In this case, does that mean you have to be in a clan to have a team? What happens if its a clan with just 5 people, is it a clan aswell as a team ? ;3 just curious, dank idea tho
I remember back in s11/s12, xDarken use to host this private build uhc team tourney. It was pretty mad, you had all these sweaty eu teams, like team epic (jde gax etc) and idk team lotus (maxim omm etc) and somehow even I got to make a team in that and participate (team blair- madeinholland karlixon blabla). It was pretty competitive and fun. Maybe someone that's well known in uhc/arena could host something similar?

Teams are inside clans, clans can have multiple teams. Teams can challenge other teams. I am also working on a clan leaderboards so :)
