lol I'd rather have a guard who's the best shooter of all time, scores efficiently, doesn't turn the ball over 5 times a game, and is not a defensive liability. Not saying currys a good defender but he's middle of the pack when it comes to point guards, Westbrook was a huge liability (especially this season). I'm also curious to see if westbrooks efficiency will go up with pg13 added (not sure if it will, he wasn't that efficient to begin with while playing with KD).
Did Westbrook have a better statistical and individual season? Yeah of course, did he deserve MVP? Yeah. Is he a better leader than curry, no. Is he a better overall player than curry? No.
I agree with your first statement but I think that Curry is not as consistent as a overall player as Westbrook. You don't see Curry dropping a triple double, 30+ a night. Westbrook brought his team last season to the 6th seed by himself, he didn't have any help at all. Westbrook is way more reliable as a player on a team than Curry. Curry in my opinion was way better 2 season ago in 2016, where he wasn't slowed down by KD.
Either way both players are extremely good at both have their own high points in their games.
