BLC keeps freezing for anyone else?

On startup of the client it freezes and doesn't respond for a few mins then opens, and typically when i join a server or click a button like multiplayer the client just doesn't respond and I gotta close it. And that cycle continues.Normal MC works great for me though, and my pc aint that ass.
I have also tried allocating much more ram, nothing works?
anyone else get this issue?
