As a former Linux user,
I can tell you that Linux is a lot better. I switched to Windows because most things weren't made for Linux, but in Linux it's much harder to be infected with malware, and things are much easier to navigate in general.

Windows Xp is amazing! On my comp I have windows 10 and win Xp dual booted for fun. Sometimes Xperia doesn't recognize my hardware since I have a 1070 and an 6600 i5, but other than that I love to shutdown and start my computer. It's so satisfying to hear the startup and shutdown noises on windows. (This is a joke, only us xp to explore how to make basic os's, I use win 10 for coding and gaming)
