Hey everyone,

I have heard some confusion from teams recently regarding the way the roster locking will work for the Diamond Series. These are the rules, straight from Archy:

1. ROSTER LOCK: If a team qualifies for the invitationals in a Diamond Series Qualifier, all players who played for that team will be locked on that team's roster for any further tournaments they participate in.

ex) Player Archyb0t plays with team Badlion in the CTF tournament and they qualify for the invitationals. If Badlion decides to play in the Domination tournament, they must include Archybot on their roster.

2. If a team does not use a player during a qualifier in which they qualify for the invitationals, that team is free to participate without that player.

ex) Player Varicks does not play with team Badlion in the CTF tournament and they qualify for the invitationals. Badlion is free to replace Varicks' spot with anyone else in any other tourneys they play.

3. If a player who has already qualified for the invitationals plays with another team, that team is not eligible to qualify for the invitationals in that tournament.

ex) Player Archybot, who qualified in the CTF tourney with Badion, decides to join Team Goodlion in the Domination tournament since Badlion isn't playing. Team Goodlion is now ineligible to qualify for the invitationals, even if they place top 2.

4. If a team which has already qualified adds a new player, that player is not subject to our roster lock policy.

ex) Team Badlion, which qualified in the CTF tourney, adds a new player, MasterGberry, for the CTW tourney. He is not roster locked to Badlion, because they have already qualified, and only players who play in the tourney in which their team qualify are roster locked.

I will also add that as far as our rule enforcement goes, teams are identified and differentiated by their name, not by their roster. I really hope this clarifies the policy and how exactly it will be enforced.

3. Aura - CTW
4. YAGA - CTW

Say we got our roster locked with 6 players, and we have another 3 spots to play around with. We finish nr1 in Domination which means we WOULD have been locked if we werent already, if the 3 players that arent locked atm play and we win, will they be locked or are the first 6 the ONLY players that can be locked, even if we finish nr1 in another tourn?
