If this anti-cheat is so big and bad what is the hurt in selling it to other MC servers then MC would be a hacker free game. Not trying to be rude, but it seems as if the staff just want to be known as "the best hacker free server" I don't want to offend anyone, but it seems it would be a great thing for the community and other kit pvp servers that do have hackers it just seems MasterGBerry wants to be known for that title. I do realize that you did code it and did put HOURS upon hours in into it, but you can probaly make all that back by selling it to some other owners it would definietly be worth the price.P.S Can you please unmute me it has been like a year and I was to attached to the damn game at the time. You also told me I could appeal in a month and some people were way more toxic them me in chat. I'm all about freedom of speech I praise it practically, but rules are rules I guess some I just don't like but I came to realize this is your server and you deserve to have it the way you want it.
EDIT: BTW, I'm going to be returning bitches, that's right I'm coming back to dominate the leaderboards!

Because it only takes one idiot to give away the plugin to a hacker and now it's like NCP, everyone can see the code and find ways to bypass it easily. Releasing it would do more damage then it would do good in the long run, because then it'll no longer work.That's why.

Also gonna add on to this, and somewhat reply myself to the suggestion. Badlion has been based around pvp but it isn't necessarily it's own server, the pvp is meant to be so that you can practice and improve for other servers, while still being able to have fun and play on the server, the GCheat plugin is there so people can continue to have fun and practice on the server peacefully, even though the plugin doesn't necessarily pick up everything it helps a lot. With this plugin being released publicly it would not only be bypassed but it would compromise part of the server, the entire reason GCheat was made instead of just using a plugin already made is because it's part of Badlion and the community, it helps a lot with catching hackers and would damage the server greatly, I'm sure you wouldn't feel like spending days on a plugin just to have it wasted and then be asked to make another one, repeating the process. "Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results" if we allow other people to have the plugin(Like all the other hack-detection plugins out there) it would just result the same, used by low-class servers because that's the best they can get, but Badlion has the option of having something that will actually help, so I don't see why they would ever give it away.Posted on 25 December 2014 - 06:39 AM
Could it perhaps be shared with responsible server owners? If not give some sort of lessons to at least get some sort of decent anti-cheat out their if this anti-cheat is so good it could be like the major ones like battleye. Maybe, I'm just thinking to hard about this but I think this could be a great thing for Minecraft if somehow it is not leaked in any sort of way to be bypassed by coders of clients. The reason some PvP'ers don't play on badlion is because they KNOW they will get banned, and that their reputation will be ruined so they strive on other servers, and you know that for a fact. Even if you do sell it you could MAYBE put it out for some ridicoulous price, and deal with something in terms of service upon purchase. I'm not the greatest on stuff like that I just want you to really think about something like this, your a smart man, and by the looks of it this could go insanely far. I guarantee server owners would be willing to have such a great anticheat for their server and be wiling to pay big bucks. The thing is coders of hacked clients would be willing to search into the code if they got their hands onto it, then it would be a war of the client either being "Detected" or "Undetected" it is something to put a lot of thinking into, but I have a strong feeling that their is something you can do to not get it leaked in some sort of way.P.S Am I going to get unmuted?

I don't think this will be sold, as it would be a leap of faith trusting somebody you know nearly nothing about with the code for a plugin, and there's no way of really limiting them to not re-selling it and that could get out of hand, Badlion staff have pretty good morals along the lines of this, but if you're looking for ethics I wouldn't exactly look to Minecraft for it.You can be unmuted by making a mute appeal and having it accepted as it's been past the month you are allowed to do it.

Well, I just wanted to see if something like this could happen I still think it could be possible in some sort of way everthing is.I know I can make a appeal to get unmuted it is just I thought it would be quick and easy just to ask here. :P

The reality is that Mojang should be doing something about this and not me. Sad thing is NoCheatPlus and myself are having to do their jobs instead. The only way GCheat would be shared with other servers if they offered me a LOT of money to do so and signed a contract with consequences for sharing it with anyone else.Posted on 25 December 2014 - 01:30 PM
