@MasterGberry has said it himself, minecraft was pretty bad, making insane gaming systems only get 800 fps on a fucking 16x16 pixel game. I think it would be absolutely amazing if someone put the time and effort into recording most of minecraft, and make it a much less heavy game! If someone does this, I will pay lolPosted on 25 December 2014 - 07:22 AM
You might, but most people would not. Also would lead to a lot of law suits.Posted on 25 December 2014 - 10:05 AM
Why would you need anything more than 60 fps, or even 100, that's enough :IPosted on 25 December 2014 - 09:22 PM
Most people only use a 60hz monitor, so anything over that won't be shown to you. I suppose if you have a 120hz or 144hz monitor, then having only 60 might be bad. I've always been under the impression that Minecraft's preformance limitations can be blamed on the JVM and LWJGL.Posted on 26 December 2014 - 04:18 AM

He is trying to blame it on Java and the graphics engine libraries it uses but he is wrong :p It might not make it amazing but the fault is 100% Mojang's Optifine proves this point by fixing the shitty performance in their game.Posted on 26 December 2014 - 05:52 AM
That honestly makes a lot of sense why would people need to go over that limit in addition to that most people would not be adaptable to a circumstance like that.Posted on 26 December 2014 - 06:20 AM

For some reason, Minecraft works my computer to the point where it will straight-up overheat and shut down. Nothing else does it, and I've never understood this, because I thought Minecraft would be an easy game on my computer. Games with crazy graphics don't even do it, though.

probably has to do with the fact that minecraft renders a lot of blocks at one point :/
