help with computer pls

Ok so, I have this problem: I can use a 258x pack, no problems, then i try a 64x pack, my fps are getting choppy. Then, I can try another 64x pack, it works perfectly well. Same thing happens with high res pack, one is laggy, the other isn't. I'm on a mac btwPosted on 11 October 2017 - 08:54 AM
Dude, you're using 258x packs? Not even mad, that's amazing.Jokes aside, a lot of it is to do with the pack and how it's rendered, how straight the edges are (since Minecraft renders 2D textures in 3D, the number of edges makes a huge difference), etc. Some 256x packs are just easy to render whereas 64x are not.
