Don't advertise perks that I don't have access to

I was noticing that the "Use /color to change the color of your name!" is advertised to players who don't have access to that perk.Assuming this isn't a bug, it is either being advertised to everyone without caring about their rank, or it is done intentionally as a scummy trick to get people to consider buying a rank. Either way the server should not be telling players they have access to a perk, then take it back and tell them that they need to buy a rank in order to have access to it.

Yeah, totally unfair that Badlion advertises harmless features you can get by supporting the server, almost as scummy as people that sell unbans or in-game items!! Let's also not forget that Badlion is the richest company in the world so they don't need donations at all!!!!!Posted on 19 October 2017 - 09:45 AM
1. It's not advertising them like that, it's telling you you have access to them, then when you try it, it tells you "No, you need a rank for that." I would have no problem with advertising them straight up2. Badlion not being the richest company in the world doesn't justify using that advertising technique, it goes for any company lol

I really don't see why you are so upset about this when you could literally just ignore it since tips don't fill up your chat 24/7, it's not """"scummy""" and it's normal for many companies ( ex: spotify when you try to download songs and you don't have premium etc) since it's not an obnoxious thing like a "HEY WANNA BE COOL LIKE EVERYONE ELSE??? BUY DONOR!!" spammed in chat every 2 seconds.

I'm not "so upset", just pointing out something that shouldn't be a part of the server. that's what this section is for, isn't it? No its not a huge deal at all, but it's clearly not a good design to tell players they have access to something as a trick to getting them to look at ranks. If spotify does that as well then it shouldn't. Again Im not going around ranting to everyone why this is a problem, just posting a thread about a feature that should probably change, in a section dedicated for these threads.

People won't know features don't exist unless they are advertised.
That being said the wording on that particular tip should probably be changed to say you need a rank to use this command.
