What badlion really needs to do for season 16

Before this day, I never thought once that I would take time of my day to make a post on the badlion forums and when I quit a while back I never thought I would even come back again. Now that I play badlion regularly again, I really kinda want to get this across. Honestly this is pointed directly at archy and the other owners so I'm hoping you read this and actually do something like this for next season

I think badlion should first and foremost go back the arena pvp lobby map of season 12 or atleast make a version 2 of it. This would be very nostalgic and would make badlion feel like season 12 again. Speaking of maps, honestly I think the maps of season 12 should come back again, these new maps kinda feel empty in my honest opinion. I've asked a few people about this as well and they agree with this.

For season 16, I also think you should do a full ban reset but if you're not confident that this is a good idea you should have it so that players that have been perm banned should only be able to use BAC

As for matches, that's another problem. Unranked matches like sg and iron should be free to play because not everyone has money to spend on an online game server for matches. Futhermore, website should be updated to show Elo stats in player profiles.

I'm hoping a lot of the people who quit come back again, we start seeing those people make videos of them hitting like 2.5k elo again and that tournaments become a big thing again. Badlion honestly is like the only chance the community has of reviving it now and season 15 was a huge step towards it with them bringing back elo etc.

Well, this was asked so many times before in terms of a ban list wipe. The problem is, last time we did it, 80% of the banned players were banned again within 2 months. So if we want the banned players to play, just let them use the BL client.

I don't think badlion will ever go back to the season 12 feel. It won't magically increase the player count. Badlion has always had bumps in its player count and it seems like it started raising again.

I agree with wpc on the ban wipe.

I don't see how this would help. S12 was one of my favorite seasons for sure, but I don't know how this would help and I don't think it would.

I don't fully agree, but perhaps we should have some sort of poll to determine this. The thought process was that flatter, more clean maps would cause more fair, flat fights, which is what arena pvp is kinda supposed to be. I'll look into this a little.

Full ban wipe won't help, I believe something is planned for BAC only if you're banned.

Badlion is a business. Businesses need money. Sadly, we cannot make unlimited unranked matches because we don't have the money to support that (at least to my knowledge). Let's do the math real quick; you have 30 unranked and 20 ranked matches. If you play all 50 matches and they're all about 2 minutes, you've spent 1 hour and 40 minutes. If you're done with all that, then you can even play mini games and stuff which are totally unlimited. If you're playing 2+ hours a day, I think it's reasonable that we expect you to pay 5 bucks a month.

I don't mind either, it depends what the community wants

Maybe like the old season (2 kits can be played unlimited times in unranked everyday). And the website profiles are being updates to show elo etc.

Let me note that when I said unlimited ranked matches, I meant for the kits that had unlimited ranked matches back in season 12, like mcsg and iron build so people who don't have money can still practice. Not everyone has money lmao and some kids parents don't allow them to spend money online.

Secondly regarding the banned players issue, badlion currently has quadruple(maybe even more) the amount of banned players then active players atm. Cheating is wrong yes, but if you are really tryna advertise your BAC client you ought to go with whatever archy had planned atleast by season 16 beta. I want that competitive feeling back again.

Also maps, do a vote as I understand fully that asking 4 or 5 friends does not mean the whole damn community is gonna agree with me however I'm almost certain they'll agree with me about the arenapvp lobby map season 12 v2 being bought back. So many memories, would make people kinda miss minecraft and wanna come back.

I don't get why limited unranked matches shouldn't be unlimited? If they change it, people will still buy Plus/Lion/Lion+ because they want unlimited RANKED matches.
