If you get your team and the people around the organization of this school program to see how MC actually is competitive that would awesome. Even if you don't perform as well as you'd like, domination is a great first gamemode to play comp imo. It's quite simple to understand, it's constant pvp so it stays exciting during the whole game. You should really considerer signing up!

It little bit too late, kinda started teaching them rod mechanics and stuff. Also we just got to team hotkeys that they like. Most of them have number 2 rod and use hotkeys such as sidebuttons, c,v, and g.Posted on 29 October 2017 - 08:47 PM

Man, that's great seeing schools hopping into the competitive scene of Minecraft. Keep it up!Posted on 29 October 2017 - 10:24 PM
This sounds very exciting and I hope this program continues to grow within your district! It is always great seeing people strive to do what they love!Posted on 30 October 2017 - 08:39 PM
yeah its kinda of unbelievable how some people in the club from the schools decided it was fun. Not gonna lie, I did get bullied a lot in the beginning when I started the idea. Only my friends supported the idea, and now my club is cool with it now. We have 50 kids in our club, and 10 on my team including me. 3 of them are also on the overwatch team and 1 of them are on the LOL team. I am just in the mc team if you were wondering.Posted on 30 October 2017 - 08:42 PM
we keep the pc's, school can keep the money if needed. Our school is well funded, and we have classes that do CAD programs so they need good computers for them. Those computers are i7 4970's with gtx 960's. We have 35 of these computers. We have another lab next door with 4460 i5's with gtx 750's. This lab is for lower cad rendering. So yeah, the school already has decent computers, they don't need the laptops.
