Hey guys.

So earlier this week I asked the community on Twitter what people thought about with the idea of a weekly release cycle for Badlion and not having random patches throughout the week. Most people seemed ok or happy with the idea and I know to us internally here it will be a very big help and cause us a lot less stress, so with that all being said we have decided to pursue the idea.

We will be releasing patches on a weekly basis now to Badlion along with patch notes (instead of dev logs) on an every Wednesday basis (except for special events). We also will still deploy hot fixes as needed if something is critically broken.

Why are you changing when patches are release?

Right now when we push things onto the network we never really 100% know if they are going to work. We do this up to 20 times or so a week at the moment and really it causes more instability than it solves. I would like for my developers to not have to worry about putting out fires all week long (even if the community doesn't see them) and therefore I believe it is better that we try to limit the number of updates at random times and focus more on a few hours of one day a week on getting everything pushed out properly.

The community will see a small downside of some possible downtime during one day of the week, but the end result will be much smoother patches, less buggy features, and make the weekends way smoother for everyone to be able to enjoy.

When will the patches be released? What will happen during this time?

We will be releasing patches on a weekly basis on Wednesday. The propose time slot at the moment is at 03:30 AM UTC and 04:30 AM UTC. Depending on what we are deploying the downtime might be shorter, longer, or possibly non-existent depending on what we are releasing.

For instance in this first deployment downtime we are doing we believe it will take about 2 hours to fully deploy all of the new features, although there might be very little to no downtime for the actual updates.

What is coming out for the first patch?

Normally we will not be announcing in advance what will be released for a patch on Badlion, but this first patch is special since there are several products that are coming out of internal testing and are ready for release. We plan to tentatively release the following features on our first official Badlion 2.0 Patch:

- New Cosmetics
- New Case System
- New Leveling System
- New Website Profiles
- New Gamemode called UHC Games (New to Badlion, mixture of SG + UHC)
- Disguise 1.8 Skin Bug Fix (Already live actually)
- Some other misc crash fixes
- Misc Bug Fixes

This is a pretty big patch and I just want to share that all patches will not be this big and the majority will be bug fixes or balance changes for things. We do imagine there will be some bugs with this huge of a change set going live, and we will do our best to apply hotfixes to the network as needed.

Conclusion

I hope that the community is accepting and happy about these changes and the upcoming first patch. We really believe this will help reduce the stress on everyone here with how things are done. We also believe this will help players see bigger change at once versus little things that don't appear in the Dev Logs or maybe they just don't see the Dev Logs.

This questions is completely irrelevant, but I did bring my problem to the attention of one of your staff and they said they'd take a look.

A Quick Rundown:
Before you guys released any of the new donor ranks, I believe I had Donator Plus. I had the abilibty to change the color of chat and my names. Now I don't. I payed for that rank and its perks and you took them away. That's like a scam. I brought it up with one of your staff and they said they'd take a look. I told them this months ago, and here I am with nothing in return or no new news.

So can you please fix this (I assume) bug.

I just see a single purchase on this account from Jan 4th 2016 which is Donator Perma which is what your permissions are currently set to.
