why would you allow players without a rank to play only 20 matches? I know y'all are money whores but still

If this isn't a bug and is actually a thing that's pretty fucking sad haha… This will only hurt the server in the long run, even less people will play on it than they do now… people aren't going to play a server where you have 15 mins of gameplay unless you donate $$$. People prefer servers where the owners aren't trying to pinch every penny out of their players.

You have 20 ranked and 30 unranked (if I'm not mistaken, I've been staff for a while so I don't specifically remember the amount of matches). That's 50 matches total, okay? Let's say each of those takes 30 seconds (which they really shouldn't. If you're playing half decently, they should take about a minute or more depending on what you're playing). That in itself is 25 minutes of play. Not too much, but as I said, I was being very, very conservative on those estimates. However, you can then play as much SG, UHCM, FFA, or any other minigames as you like. That is literally infinite time. So if you're spending 25 minutes + as much of other games as you want playing Badlion, I think it's fair that we want 5 dollars a month.

Now, what's the reason that Badlion has to do this whereas other competitive games can do this for free? Oh wait, competitive games don't. They charge money to get the game. They get money straight from that. If Badlion were like any other competitive game, they'd charge money so you could play on it. The fact that you're able to play 2-3+ hours a day without paying a penny is great on its own.

I have never been able to donate to Badlion because my parents didn't let me. That's how my parents are. I still clocked 3-4 hours on Badlion a day just from minigames and arena, because I was grateful that they offered this service for free. And Badlion isn't trying to pinch every penny out of their players, they're trying to stay alive. Badlion is a business, and it needs money to run. That's how it is.

Made a thread on this, this is what gberry said that this is like s12 season , well when this was added i got pissed but now it seems ok. Thing is that people are lowkey wanting s12 stuff back so bad they may have decided to do this, kind of like the cave rates in uhc

I'm fine with 20 ranked and 30 unranked, the only problem is that isn't the case anymore. Now you only have 20 (or 10 for someone who hasn't registered) matches for BOTH ranked and unranked. Especially for a new player, having only 10 matches isn't going to encourage them to come back the next day and play again. I don't see how further reducing the amount of matches helps the server in any way whatsoever.
