Uhm everyone on badlion hacks and according to people gcheat doesn't pick up the 2nd most common cheat - reach. While I feel like people getting away with stuff like 3.4 reach is somewhat acceptable, it's common for people to have well over that and never get banned.Also the evidence required by mods is kinda stupidly high, I've seen a lot of players not banned by staff even though they are blatantly using like 5 blocks of reach. 3rd person evidence shouldn't really be required when the player is obviously cheating.
I don't code anticheats and don't know the first thing about it, but I fail to understand how hard it is to maintain what was once generally accepted as the best anticheat, even watchdog is better then gcheat at this point lol

+1I do understand that Gcheat cannot catch everything, but I do agree that it could use a bit of an update. A dude was able to cheat all the way up to 2200 build with 6+ of reach. Gcheat was not able to catch it the dude had to be recorded to finally get banned. 1 do know Gcheat still bans people consistently throughout the day however sometimes it doesn't always ban people as fast as desired.

+1, you also have to keep into note that it's not the easiest thing coding an anti cheat. Especially for this big of a server. There's always going to be something that bypasses anti cheat it is nearly impossible to auto ban for every single thing. Although it could be improved, and I wish it would improve as there is a lot of cheaters on Badlion and it would be a lot better to have a hacker-free experience.Posted on 06 November 2017 - 01:07 PM

I do agree as I have experienced that as well and I know we don't expect perfection but we should at least appreciate for what the anti cheat does ban for currently. I hope it can be improved in the near future.

I mean if its free +1To bad its not free it cost a lot of time, money and effort. I would love to have a perfect anti-cheat but im sure it isn´t something they can just update in a week.. or month or more..
