I want to start off by saying I do not condone racism or homophobia, but that I am just defending that side of the argument.

Currently, on Badlion, Racism and Homophobia is punishable by muting. But this should not be the case. When you are punishing those who say racist or homophobic slurs, you are clearly pushing a left wing agenda by making us follow a certain guideline on what we can say and cannot say. This liberal rhetoric is making us assimilate to these left wing values, a clearly imperialistic approach to punishments. By making Racism and Homophobia punishable, you are pretty much condemning our civil rights as sovereign human beings in this glorious country. We have a right to freedom of speech, and although Racism and Homophobia are easily seen as harmful words, they are still allowed in this country. In a court of law, there is no law preventing us from speaking our minds about racism or homophobia, hence the immense amount of racist or homophobic groups that are gathered around the country. We cannot arrest these people for what they believe in, and we cannot make them assimilate to more "liberal" or "PC" values. Racism and Homophobia is heavily condemned by most people and the media, but it is not punishable my law. This should be the case on Badlion. You cannot make Racism and Homophobia punishable, but you can condone it. What I mean by condone is in a social sense, in which if someone were to indulge in racist or homophobic acts, it wouldn't be socially acceptable, and others would frown upon it, but you should not be able to punish someone for these acts. If someone believed in orthodox Christian values, they would not support homosexuality, and they would be allowed to express their opinions in a socially acceptable/unacceptable manner. This should be the case on Badlion, you cannot push your liberal rhetoric since it silences the other side of the argument. (And by the other side of the argument I do not mean conservatives as a general whole, since I am not trying to make it look like the conservative side is racist and homophobic. By the other side I am talking about those who indulge in racism and homophobia, from any side of the political spectrum.) You are asking us as people with freedom of speech to assimilate to your politically correct, authoritarian agenda, and that is not OKAY. In this case, you are not punishing those who are insensitive, but rather you are the insensitive bigots that you are so heavily trying to stop.
In conclusion, Homophobia and Racism should not be punishable, but they should be condoned. They can be socially unacceptable, but they should not be punishable. This is just as insensitive as the Racists and Homophobes are perceived. Thank you and have a good day.
