Hey folks. This is going to be a double patch note week as we never ended up releasing the patch notes for Badlion Patch 2.3 due to a miscommunication error. Most of Badlion Patch 2.3 was tweaking and fixing some bugs and Patch 2.4 brings some new features to the table.

Let's get into the changes.

esports lobby

We have a new esports lobby that has been added to Badlion. This is the first step towards some more competitive features we are working towards that should be coming out very soon. In the esports lobby you can find a new duel system for doing scrims which allows way more customizations than previously.

New Kit Editing System for all 5v5 gamemodes in one place (including also UHC Meetup, which is not a 5v5 gamemode)

SG Duels are now available

Pregame options for duels are now available

Spectator options for duels are now available

More awesome stuff coming really soon.

You can find the new esports lobby in the server selector inventory. Just click the diamond at the bottom of the inventory.

Personal Boosters

We are excited to share the next feature being added to the Badlion Store today which has been requested from the community, XP Boosters. These XP Boosters will help you level up faster in Badlion which gives you a chance of unlocking cases faster. Cases on Badlion give awesome non-game modifying content such as cosmetics, extra arena matches, spectator access and more.

Chicken Ladder - Limited Time Only

It is the beginning of the holiday season in America once again, and we are bringing back one of our classic holiday ladders for a limited time, the Chicken Ladder (formally known as Meat Slapper Ladder).

Your kit only includes a Knockback 10 Raw Chicken and your objective is to kill your opponent, the same as always. This kit is available in the unranked section of the ArenaPvP servers. Get in as many games while you can. We have made it available with unlimited matches.

Old School UHC Gamemode

We have added a new UHC gamemode today to Badlion due to high demand. We are calling it Old School UHC. These UHC games have Badlion 5.0 worlds generated for them, but have all of the awesome features of Badlion UHC 6.0. This means that you get a more classic UHC feeling with less diamonds/caves, and the awesome UHC 6.0 features such as auto-respawning when someone gets banned that killed you.

Advertise your channels by playing on Badlion

We have added a new feature into the chat messages on the server for all Youtube, Twitch, Famous, and Famous+ players to share their channels in game automatically. Anyone can click on one of these people's names now and if they have a channel setup on their Badlion website profile to see their channels.

We want to help content creators grow on Badlion the same way they help to bring new people to Badlion.

Nerfed damage of bed bombing in UHC

Added option to disable bed bombing altogether in UHC

Prepare for better language support throughout the network, including CTW and network-wide commands

Party leaders can force start party events on ArenaPvP even if not all players in the party are ready

Disable /resetstats on all servers except the main lobby

Remove SkyWars from the minigames inventory in ArenaPvP since it is inactive

Implement tab completion with the /party command

Add /rank and /shop commands to give links to the Badlion Store

Lower the number of players needed and the countdown time for an SG game to start

Use players' custom Badlion Client badge colors in the UHC /killtop command

Website all time XP leaderboards are now based on level and not experience.

Changed how experience is given to players to fix a rare desync

Fix ArenaPvP staff list not tracking online staff correctly

Fix tab list and sidebar for ranked matches left not matching for ArenaPvP

Fix being unable to deny a party invite if the person who sent the invite is offline

Fix message broadcasts being sent out when you level up as a disguised player

Disable instant death from hitting void in Ender Dragon Rush gamemode in UHC

Fix typo in website causing ArenaPvP stat ratings to display incorrectly

Fixed an issue with the profile badges not showing up in the right sizes

Fixed an issue with non-ranked ladders showing up in your arena ratings

Fixed an issue where you could not select text on the left side of the profile

Fixed an issue where ELO on match history sometimes would show a double negative

Fixed misc issues with profile pages returning 502 errors

Fixed /unmark command from not working sometimes

Fixed some hover message issues with the Lion+ and BAC tags in chat messages
