You're right, I don't. But out of all the Africans that play MC and Badlion, who would donate to help keep one up? Thats the question.

The owners would have to take a risk. Like when they first made an Australian Host it was a risk. But it turned out to be a good risk. Making an africa host is also a good risk.

How is it a good risk? How it would benefit Badlion? I haven't seen any good reason as to why Badlion should consider adding an African proxy. The only reason why they still have a Australian proxy is because they saw that the donations coming in from that region is still enough to keep on. If for any reason the donations went down to the point the money from that region is not enough to support the server(s), then they might shut it down. Unless you can prove why Badlion should add a African proxy using true statistics (example: people playing from there) and evidence that shows that having one could benefit Badlion, then I might change my mind; otherwise, I'm keeping my -1.

Its a good risk because just like anyone else African people deserve their own proxy. Nothing makes african people lesser or worse of needing of their own proxy than Eu or Na. It probably isn't even a risk. Africa is the second biggest continent. Governments all over the continent are importing computers into their countries. Every second that passes more children are getting computers and technology. Their looking for games to play. Minecraft than comes into play. Its one of the biggest online games in its prime it probably is still high on the list. And its really not that expensive. Me and my friends play minecraft a lot. Its populer to play minecraft. And a lot of them play multiplayer. Like hypixel and other servers. Its a good risk because I know it can sustain itself. Here in Nigeria your looked down upon if you dont play minecraft. Its not even a risk its a profit.

It's less about looking down on anyone so much as being realistic. Asia has an insanely large esports and gaming community yet that proxy was shut down due to lack of funding. We don't mean to make Africa sound bad in anyway, we just have reasons to be skeptical.

Ok, for now I don't see an AF server coming in the near future purely because AS would likely come back first due to the larger gaming community and also the on average better server infrastructure. This is not to say an AF proxy is impossible I just don't see it happening for quite a while unless something changes.Regarding your connection to EU, it appears you are logging in from the US so either you are not from Africa or you are using a VPN to the US which would hurt your connection quality overall.
