It's no surprise that Badlion isn't heading in a constant uphill direction and has gone back to the old player count after the hyped up Badlion 2.0.Personally,I had high hopes for Badlion 2.0 and believe that GBerry and Archy did all that they could to try and revive the community.I know a lot of you are going to be mad about this thread and won't support my side but I have been a huge fan of the Badlion network since the "Golden" days playing casual party fights with my friends on a daily basis.Just please hear me out and decide what you believe would be the best option for Badlion at this stage.I'm going to cut straight to my point,Archy and GBerry should start up a new server similar to Badlion implementing some old features and making sure no bugs are found.Bugs have been a huge problem contributing to the decrease in player count for Badlion and I know while I was a moderator on ArenaPvP,the spectator glitch de motivated me a lot to not only moderate but to log into Badlion.
Another point I would like to point out is that I think that any Badlion loyal will know of the perspective that the Minecraft PvP community has towards this server and it's not a very positive one.Many people criticise Archy,staff,bugs,devs and just the "toxic" community within us.If we start fresh and give Archy and GBerry plenty of time,there will surely be new rules set in to prevent the heavy abuse that Badlion takes in from the community being regarded as Toxic.This could drive players back into Badlion.
I know what a lot of you will be saying "Oh well Badlion is basically always at 1k+ players so why should we care".Well you actually should because as the community decreases,it means that it will be harder to fill up UHC games,find SG games,find matches in Arena etc.I want you to think,In a years time would it be better to have started up fresh in a few months or dragged along the development of Badlion for an entire year.
In conclusion I believe that Badlion should start fresh with a new reputation.

I would also just like to add that another reason Badlion should start fresh is because no-one is actually using new features such as the stream setting on the forums or new gamemodes such as Domination.Posted on 15 December 2017 - 11:09 AM

I mean, even with new content it just isn't a good idea. Badlion has a lot of name recognition, and starting fresh as a "new" server could only ever be a step backwards, not to mention all the time a complete rebrand would take away from improving the server.

If you make a new server with the same features and similar playerbase, it won't help in growth. It would more destroy the community over all. If Badlion shut down some players would never go to the new server, meaning we would lose a part of the community.-1

Tbh archy And gberry should just dip and find a good job
