Hey ya'll!

So, I've been playing tons of SG (trying to get LBS - pretty close to #1; different forum though), and have noticed/ thought of some things with Survival Games. Before I continue, I just want to say that, although (in my opinion) MCSG had the best SG (and always will no matter what), copying them would be blatant/ desperate; and I'm very happy with BadLion's combination of originality and nostalgia. So, lets get to the list!



Add: Player Tracker

I know this may get some hate, but it would actually be a pretty good fit for BL. BadLion has already strayed from MCSG, so why not go the full length. This item has never been done good by other servers (Nexus/ Fridge, Hypixel, Mineplex), but if put in Supply Drop's only (which I'll get to in a bit), it could go pretty well. Also, since it's only in Supply Drop's, it would indicate the game is going slow, and needs to be sped up.

Fix/ Add: Supply Drop's

So, the Supply Drop's used to come with diamond armor, which got hate. Now, they're practically tier 2's. There needs to be a balance in the middle (considering the title of them is "Tier 3"). I'm thinking only iron armor, a higher chance of diamonds, and a higher chance of golden apples. Play around with it and see.

Fix: Crashing Games

Sometimes when the game is about to start (or in the middle of the game), the game will crash. Obviously it's easier said than done, but it's very annoying and makes full games loose tons of players. - Just a pet peeve.

Allow: F3+A

Yeah, yeah, I know this isn't allowed in UHC (and for good reason), but SG is very different. When SG first got really sweaty, F3+A was used to find people in games taking for ever. Also, it's not unfair since everyone can do it. I'd say to allow it to re-add some competitiveness.

Fix: Elo Processing

This is very annoying. Elo from games ago will process after winning games, and it is very annoying not knowing your real rank. Like I said earlier, easier said than done (and lots of networking involved with this one too), but this is very annoying for those of us playing competitively, and effects everyone. Also, I understand this is on purpose due to lag/ efficiency, but if there's anything I've learned from 3+ years of coding; there's always a work around.
