MakeBadlionGreatAgain

I miss this server and all the amazing times I had whilst playing it. I feel as if something could be changed in order to produce a better community experience. Potion PvP was a huge part of badlions upbringing. I feel as if restoring potion pvp establishments inside the server with a slight twist would be epic.

For instance, a potpvp game mode called ComboLion
I was thinking of unique ways that aren't perpetual and will bring new ideas and new faces to the scene.
So this is how "ComboLion" would work. (Name can change its just my idea so I added Part of my own name in it)
4 teams of 4 a total of 16 players in a size map of 1000x1000
Start off with full Iron Kit with MAX enchants.
FULL inventory of pots with EVERY respawn. Once upgrades are purchased they are PERM for the rest of the game. (Doesn't reset on death)

Every base has a full enchanting table which cannot be broken by anyone and a farm in which can be harvested for money. The general Idea is for every kill you get money. Money is used to upgrade your gear to Diamond and enchant further. However it isnt solely PvP based as people can also Farm in the FRONT of their base. However, crops can be destroyed and looted by enemy teams which makes farming very valuable but hard to defend since all farms are placed directly north of the bases facing other enemies farms. In the middle of the map is KOTH where if you cap it you get $50BB (Badlion Bills) every 5 seconds. Once you get a kill, have crops, cap the KOTH you get money to your personal mpc. However to progress your team you need to deposit this money back in your base at the "BadlionBank" (A spot which you deposit your money, also cant be destroyed by enemies)

If you get a KILL and the ENEMY has UNDEPOSITED money you get HALF of their margin. So say the enemy player killed 3 people and has 20 wheat for an "imaginary" total of $320 BB (Badlion Bills) you get 320/2 which is $160 BB. Then you can deposit it at your base.

So you may be asking ok it sounds alright but whats the objective here. The objective is the first team to deposit $15,000 WINS. I also think that when your team wins you get DOUBLE the elo as you would normally get to your GLOBAL elo since the game would be longer.

So a final run down.
4 teams 16 players
BB or badlion bills which are a currency in this specific game mode
BadlionBank the spot to progress your teams funds in every team's base
Farms which can be grown and looted for additional revenue. (Infront of every base)
A full enchanting table setup in every teams base which can be utilized by buying books in the shop which is in every teams base.
Potions reset on death so you instantly spawn back at base with whatever you died with before (Except your money if it wasnt deposited)

This idea is structured to be a fast-paced game mode with potion pvp implemented with some cool features to spice it up.

This may seem intriguing but I also think it will bring teams together in a community-based environment to work together to gain ELO.

Let me know what you guys think, is this idea interesting or just another dust bowl.

Eh tbh i dont think anything will work, even if they create the coolest gamemode ever it will just get a temporary boost of players. I think that people have moved on

Sup bro, what a coincidence just today i looked up your yt channel and watched ur vids from like 3 years ago.
The best thing for potion could be just to scrap it from arena and make it part of cubecore, or make a separate Kohi server (like the original practice).

I don't know how this would play out tbh. The issue is that it might die straight away just like some other current gamemodes and be a complete waste of resources.

Overall though, I like the idea of the game, and it woule be nice to have a pot gamemode simply because pot doesn't have all that many gamemodes. But, one major thing I think would need to change is the map size. 1000x1000 is way too much space for only 4 teams of 4. It would make most of the game running around to places.

Meh I agree to disagree. I think if something catches it catches. H1Z1 people said no other game could do it and pubg comes along and everyones hooked again.

Yes because there is a market for those games. No one is going to start playing mc cuz bl has a cool Gamemode. And the people from other servers will probably still mostly play that server and maybe play on bl, won't last for long.

Seems like a good idea ngl but I feel that it will die out soon cause its too tedious.

I like the concept, but as others have said, it'll most probably die out; however, that doesn't mean that there isn't a chance that it'll work out. Either way, this doesn't need to be implemented immediately, like, maybe when there are more available resources for development.
