It's all about the competition and the mindset they evolve about trying to win. It's the competition combines with their overall immaturity that leads them to say such offensive things.

I honestly don't think player should try their hardest in arena… It's not even competitive. You have no reward(s) for winning lol it's literally useless and it's also pay2win

But that doesn't make it easier to win matches, just gives the ability to play more matches. The only 'winning' to be done is in matches between one or more players, not on the leaderboards.
