We are looking to add someone to our team at Turtle Entertainment Online, Inc that is going to be working with the company on building future projects. The individual will need to have a knowledge of full stack web development and will actively be working on building websites/web systems for TEO. This is a remote position and you will need to be flexible with time zones depending on where you live.

Job Description

This job will not be for working on Badlion or Minecraft. The hired individual will be building new systems from the ground up, so having experience in creating stuff from scratch is going to increase your chances at succeeding in this position. Individual needs to have an understanding of how to separate front and back end stack development.

We want to bring someone onto our team who is self motivated, can work independently, and knows when to ask questions. We are choosing to pursue our tech stack with React (Front End), Node.JS (Back End), Java (Back End), and any other pieces in the middle we deem necessary. Having experience in as many of these areas as possible will increase your chances at succeeding in this job experience. Database systems will include a mixture of SQL and NoSQL systems. Understanding both, and when to use each of them is important.

Qualifications

Applicants when applying for this position should have the following qualifications as a minimum:

* 3+ Years experience with a front-end Web stack (HTML/CSS/JS).
* 1+ Years experience developing on React.
* 1+ Years experience of backend development in Node.js.
* Understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
* Independent worker and self driven.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Knowledge of how to use Git/Github.
* Knowledge of basic UNIX/Linux.
* 18 Years or Older

The following qualifications are an added bonus and will raise the chances of succeeding in the position:

* Knowledge of NoSQL systems and how they work.
* Knowledge of how the HTTP system works and the various parts of the web stack
* REST development experience
* Java development experience
* Python development experience
* Mobile dev experience
* React native experience
* AWS infrastructure experience
* GRPC or Thrift experience
* Working remotely
* Loves gaming and building tech around them
