I don't think people want to read some long essay about what I believe should be changed in 6.0, so I'll try my best to make it short.To start I think the idea of 'op caves' is great, but I do think the diamond rate should be altered, and here's why.
-1.People are full diamond 20 minutes in. Now I remember back 2 years ago, even maybe 1 year ago, where being full diamond before 20 minutes was HUGE. Now its the norm and it really makes true 'snowballing' impossible.
-2.XP levels need to be either reduced, or the diamond rate does. In order to even have a bit of a chance in 100x100 you have to be at least full prot 3 with sharp 4. Everyone is super stacked with sharp v's, full prot 4 or close to it, and its to the point where it doesn't even feel like a real UHC it feels like an OP meetup. It is almost impossible to win if you don't have these things.
I really want badlion UHC to go back to how it was a year or two ago with some modifications. For example a higher cave rate, but same oldschool diamond rate.
Now, I could go on and on with what I think should be changed in 6.0, but nobody wants to read that. Instead, I'll ask what do you think should be changed in 6.0 or do you think nothing should be changed.

Okay, first of all that's true that diamond rate is OP, but you now have Old School scenario, that's first thing.Also I really don't see a point of bringing back "old uhcs", some people complain about oldschool uhcs, and in other hand, some people complain about this uhc. You can't make anything perfect.
It's -1 from me, and don't get me wrong I really like the Old School uhc,
but some people don't. So in this situation for me (And I think for most of the players) uhc is good.

I completely agree, this current UHC ruins all the fun of UHC and screws over the game with things like snowballing.Luckily mentally a long time player of UHC is now head of game design and will almost certainly change the diamond rates down

I agree most people do like the current one with the fills in oldschool games being terrible, but maybe the way you get xp could be altered? Like you don't get as much xp from things like redstone lapis and quartz so its harder to get so stacked. What do ya think?Posted on 18 January 2018 - 08:06 AM
while this would be nice and all, the reason for caves and rates being like this is to take away the advantage that xrayers. Say rates were vanilla. If someone was able to use a form of xray that helps them bypass, they can get full diamond. Then against the legit player who is likely not full diamond, the xrayer has the advantage. IMO I think the diamond rates should remain the same, but the cave rates become smaller. If you didn't know, 6.0 is practically INFINITE caves and you can come out full d with only 200 dura gone on your pickaxe. I feel a better way to get the old 5.0 feeling is making the caves smaller. This way people should have to mine more to find caves rather than digging straight down to y11 and finding a huge OP cave.Posted on 20 January 2018 - 07:09 PM

Would you rather have a few rayers (that will eventually get banned) or a constant load of people being full diamond? Honestly I'd take a couple of rayers over full diamond every game.Posted on 22 January 2018 - 02:56 AM
neutral. I think that they have to create a scenario of 100% vanilla i support to come back to the old diamond rate … but some people don't like it so i think that is so crazy to move rn all the community of badlion to the old sistem of caves etc.
