I don't find any of it offensive, I just think it's extremely tiresome to listen to. I play Rainbow Six and the community is so nice and whatever, here there is just no mercy.

minecrsft is not dying. Maybe the pvp aspect of it but not the game. Badlion however, is killing itself.Posted on 02 February 2018 - 02:55 PM
Minigames staff wasn’t even supposed to be separated but it did when the SG staff team became a thing. Ever since they transformed SG staff team to minigames they have just been holding off the merge until now.And trust me there are plenty of staff because normal reports get handled really fast on forums and during popular hours we would be having 5-7 mods on moderating in-game reports.
The staff team is fine and the merge was just making things more convient.
But the staff team are still looking for people but we are at a good size.
With the admins some can’t work for badlion forever and there are just major changes happening in the server. That’s very normal for any network that has been on for years. You can’t expect everyone to stay forever.

Player counts are undeniably declining and I hope that some of the new features, both in development already and in the planning stages by the new admins will help us out. Badlion needs to adapt to the constantly changing server climate, and I hope that they can do that just as they did in the past.I would like to point out though that the statement that admins are resigning may be a stretch, from the phrasing in the post:

This sounds like there was a mutual agreement to retire admins who were drifting away from the network (not uncommon for people's interests to change over 4 years) and replace them with people who were willing and able to put in the time. This kind of staff shakeup isn't uncommon for longstanding servers.

This is nothing compared to what the server has faced in the past, peasants.https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/11531 this was the worst I've personally ever seen it, and we were pretty scared at the time (myself barely considered staff as a chatmod :c ), with the almighty Gberry even considering to throw in the towel and call it quits. Good job he didn't ;)

For a bunch of admins leaving, there were more new admins then old admins that left.
According to what gberry said in a previous post the 3rd point is false (https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/200221/post/1105221#1105221)
For the last one, Mentally was hired for game design
Also Minecraft as a game isn't dying, there's lots of stats from mojhang proving otherwise.
I believe Badlion will actually grow substantially soon with the release of BLC 2.0, Bedwars, and Season 16. But that's just my opinion. If the end is near as you've been said it won't be because of Badlion, it'll be because of this community.
I agree

Just because the staff format had been that way for so long doesn't mean it was a good thing. People have been questioning why arena moderation is separate to minigames for a long time, I don't see any advantages to having them separate. Also, with the 'arcade' ladders in season 16 there is more of a minigames element to arena now rather than being only for competitive ranked play.
You don't even make any points in the rest of your post so there's nothing else to respond to.
The server isn't at it's best ever atm, but it's fine. People overreact, and forget that BL is the closest to having a no-cheater environment of any server with BLC 2.0 and there are a good amount of positive changes going on.

I mean in December Minecraft broke the record for most concurrent players ever, so it certainly isn't dead.
For my opinion though, I don't see this as an ending, the staff team merge is just because the main differences that were there are being reduced and it also just allows for more general moderation.
AU closing is in no way a sign of Badlion dying, if anything it will help as we have money to put into other areas that was spent on the Oceanic region and this isn't a repeat of MCGamer as there is a lot of stability back end through ESL and the developers team. MCGamer had 1 maybe 2 developers for the longest time, BL has an equally large network that has over 10 developers for various tasks.
Gamemodes are not taking off because we don't have the advertisement of the new gamemodes and trying to get people to play other things often is difficult, I may be wrong, but I think Mentally, SuchSpeed and Mistazel should help in this department to be honest.
Having been staff on MCGamer when it was dying I can confidently tell you that none of the staff internal issues that existed there are coming up here as far as I can see.

@ThatOneCombo you can add onto that list "selling unbans", one of the most pathetic things a server can possibly do, and something that the owners have been swearing they would never do since the beginning of the server. Sad days.Posted on 03 February 2018 - 08:31 PM
