We here at Badlion are excited to bring you the next 5v5 tournament, a return to an old favorite: Capture the Flag!

1st place - In Game Champion Tag & 6 months of Lion Plus
2nd place - 3 months of Lion Plus

Maps & Format

This tournament will consist of a pool of the following 3 CTF maps:
Basilica
Bastille
Bazaar

The format will be a two-stage format.
The first stage will be a Swiss-system format. Details are dependent on signups and will be announced prior to the tournament. It will be played on Saturday, Feb. 17th, starting at 11am EST.
Second, the top players from the first stage will move onto a single elimination bracket stage on Sunday, Feb 18th, starting at 11am EST, where they will be seeded by their performance in the first stage. They will play Bo3s vs each opponent in the bracket stage.

Map order and selection will be determined as follows:

Bo1
Larger-Number Seed vetoes first
Smaller-Number Seed vetoes second
Remaining map is played

Bo3
Smaller-Number Seed chooses map #1
Larger-Number Seed chooses map #2
Remaining map is #3

Rules

In addition to the rules below, all Badlion rules apply during the tournament.

The following offenses may warrant a disqualification and or a ban from all Badlion Network servers without warning, and punishments will be harsher than those usually given out:

  • Usage of any unauthorized client modifications/hacked clients
  • Usage of any sort of external device that gives the player an unfair advantage over other players
  • Threatening, harassing, or bullying other players
  • Exploiting game-breaking plugin issues/abusing bugs
  • Failure to follow directions given by Tournament Staff
  • Any action that causes a disruption to the event
  • Any form of poor sportsmanship and/or disrespect, publicly or privately
  • Evading an IP ban (We will wait to issue the bans 5 minutes before the tournament starts)
    • Rules and gameplay are subject to change

  • Rematches will be granted at the discretion of Tournament Advisers or Senior Tournament Staff in only certain situations.
  • Banned players are permitted to compete with Badlion Client only.
