Bitcoin Investing...
Have you ever though of investing in some sort of crypto currency?

My irl friend just bought $400 worth of Ripple which is an alt currency.Basically it's $1 each atm but it has alot of hype around it and is expected to go up.Rn there is a huge crash and so everything has gone down which mean's it's cheaper.

I went onto the official Crypto reddit discord and a mod (I didn't know he was) taught me a lot and EVEN GAVE ME $16 USD of icon (Another Currency).Hell yeah.

I bought a fair amount of BTC when it reached $10k and was going up real fast, at it's highest point I was up a few hundred bucks in profit and I regret not selling it then. Buying and selling crypto in general is a bit of a pain in the ass when you're under 18 so I'll probably just hold onto what I have left until I turn 18.

The problem with crypto-currencies is that they aren't currencies. They're commodities, like gold. A bitcoin is worth nothing until you sell it for real money. The economy with cyptocurrencies, is similar to gold in the aspect that overnight it can become worthless and perhaps never spike up again. As an investment, it's nothing short of gambling. Easier just to stick with a genuine currency that is worth what it's worth and varies with pennies per-day, rather than thousands…

Yeah I agree with you on that.I wasn't interested into purchasing crypto-currencies but was rather interested in them.I do have 3 Icon coins but some rando gave them to me for free.I'm really just investigating how Crypto-currencies really work and what effects their prices.
